This has to be a joke. One runs a gimmick offense that we shut down. The other was the best QB we have ever had.

I thought they lost their top back. Who am I thinking of?
Either way, they aren't reloading on defense. I'm expecting them to be around the 60-70's this year. In another year or so, they should be better, but it's not like sumlin fields a lot of good defenses.

As a Red shirt Freshman, JM has already accomplished more in his college career than JR. However, I'll wait a couple more years before I vote.

A&M has recruited well under Sumlin on D but they are not ready yet I think 2 or 3 top 100 DTs. couple DBs, a LB that was #1 but qualification probs. But it will take couple more classes to be solid. But they are getting there.
But this year, the starting DBs are supposed to be good but thin. Front seven thin. Its gonna be an issue.

It obviously depends on the offense. 2 completely different quarterbacks. They might as well be different positions.
With that said, who in the hell cares? I don't see either of them currently on the depth chart.

Wait - are we talking about who would we take with last years team or this years? Guys hate to say it but with JFF LSU would be holding the crystal last year - and probably favored over Bama to win this year. Not so much with JR.
