Aren't they turning the front 9 of the golf course into parking lots?

You are thinking of the on-campus course. LSU golf plays off campus at University Club.

I love LSU, but our fans are a lil ridiculous. They think we have the best everything, so in turn we should always have the best coaches and the best athletes. They won't even give in to the fact that its possible there are a lot of schools around the country with at least equal facilities. Well except the pmac, a lot of our fans tend to hate on the pmac, and genuinely those are the ones that can't see that a lot of schools have a lot worse. Very strange if you ask me.

The Nat is the worst swimming facility in D1 period.

It doesn't matter whether you agree with my rankings or not. I freely admit that in order to not be seen as an out-and-out homer, I was less-than-generous in some instances. The point is, with only two exceptions...the PMAC and the Natatorium...every LSU athletic facility is at least in the top four in it's category in this conference. And while the PMAC is obsolescent and in need of upgrades, refurbishment, and possibly replacement, it's certainly serviceable.

The one athletic facility LSU possesses that is clearly deficient is the Natatorium. I think that is clear to anyone now.

Mike the Tiger will get A/C before the Natatorium. Pretty sad.

Maybe the box isn't the best but you can make an argument for it.

Now I haven't been to those other stadiums, but when it comes to our fans I don't think any stadium will ever match the box in atmosphere. Sure we don't have a place to cook out in the outfield, but the box is rocking when it comes to big games. Look at the Texas A&M series this year, I know it's the old box but there was no better atmophser to be in than the UCI super regional in 08.

The Box has the largest capacity in the country.

The extras we have in the box also put it above the others. The box has one of the best stadium entrances in the country. Champions square is very nice, and the hall of fame is pretty cool too. Also I know we don't have as many suites as other schools but the champions club behind home plate is pretty amazing, and you get the best seats in the house.

What sets apart other stadiums are chair back seats, which is pretty nice, and the book out areas in the outfield.

It is very easy to make an argument that the box is the best baseball stadium in the SEC. Based on the atmosphere, the entrance, and the champions club.

I ran track in college, there are some awful facilities around the country. I've run on tracks with surfaces: asphalt, 1st generation ruberized tracks that were done 30+ years ago, even a clay track. I've been to multiple schools with literally no stands, you just stood around the fence that bordered the track. LSU's facility isn't the best I've run at but it's decent.

They will soon be decreasing the capacity by giving the lower bowl seats more room and space. It's true

I'm not a fan of berms, there, I said it, but to me they look a little too lowbrow.

Berms look low brow, but you don't mention the metal bleachers. Assuming it's kept nice and green, berms look really nice.

What LSU SHOULD do is give the first ten rows in the lower bowl sidelines to the VISITING fans.

[imagines watching visiting fans get all excited about seats, then pointing and laughing when they have to stand up to see over players heads]

I like how the PMAC is second and the picture you chose has the practice facility blocking it. Well played

We don't need to fricking suites. Too many A-holes up there anyway. None of the want to pay taxes. Piss on um.
