Lester came out two years later at press conference and owned up to the ncaa forcing him to indict lsu or miss the following year! That generation of negatigers did the rest of the damage Dale and Lsu's carreer !

I thought it was a lot later than 2 years.

What the ncaa did to him was pathetic, and I gold little bad feelings towards him.

He owned up to his mistakes

I don't forgive him and I hope that he is employed at a low paying job. This guy destroyed the life of a good coach and put a school that was trying to upgrade its basketball program,on probation. Dale was man enough to accept his apology. This idiot isn't sorry for a damn thing. BTW, why wasn't the current Carolina coach punished for his involvement in this crap? Roy Williams should have been punished more than Dale Brown. The NCAA has its favorites and it has been shown throughout the years.

POPPA SMURF ! earl was really caught up the war between the scuzz bucket ncaa and Dale Brown who was guilty of speaking his mind against the ncaa at a time when you was punished for such as that !

He was in HS when I was. We used to go to to the games just to watch him play.

It sucks that things happened the way they did. He was an awesome basketball player.

18 yrs old??? LMAO! Lester was 19 yrs old when he was a Sr at GOHS. Besides his talent his age alone played a major advantage over other HS players.

Yes, but was never going to happen and the Lester case isn't the only time he pulled stunts similar to this case. Check out the list of players transferring to Kansas under Roy and the number of times coaches called foul. The calling of players why under scholarship and flying them in to Kansas isn't a short list.

Lester's son, Drake Davis, will probably be the No.1 WR recruit in the country two years from now.

Drake was at The Dunham School this past year, but I think he has since enrolled in a VA military school -- not sure on that.

6-foot-5 210 4.35 according to Drakes Hudl

This thread is half people thinking you're talking about the poster.

The real Lester Earl is a kind person who screwed LSU and has since apologized. I forgive him.
