the worst part is our OL looking like the are wearing roller skates.

Had harris kept the ball on that play he would have gone for 30 yards but i guess Les said let just keep giving it to LF he'll breaak on eventually . That .gif shows exactly whats wrong with the play calling against good DL's. Our OL gets blown up and everyone knows the run is coming .

Can we wait til he actually plays a game?

this is correct.

I'm as excited about Valentine as anyone, but let's wait until the real games start.

Even then, our season is in two parts - the cupcakes and lesser teams, and the big 3-4 games against the better teams.

We'll know when we know. All this prediction and guessing gets so tiresome. Let's play the games, then we'll find out.

I'm not really a skeptic, but I laugh at people like the OP.
Showing up to give himself pats on the back after a week of practices.

Really? You get this worked up over preseason reports. If you could win national championships on preseason reports and spring ratings, Les would lead the pack. Unfortunately, you have to play all the way through November to win titles.

People always say shite like this even though its completely false.
LSU has zero seasons under Les Miles where they were favorites to win the Championship.

In the one season where they were generally considered a top 2 team (2007), they won the BCS Championship. In the only other season where they were considered a preseason Top 4 team, they played in the BCS Championship.

The national media has been remarkably accurate in its preseason projects for LSU under Miles.

Edit: I forgot that LSU was also top 4 in 2012 but that was really more based on the prior season than actual analysis of the 2012 team (especially without Mathieu).

With Gilmore speaking so clearly about the impact of TV...eating double teams and all...where are the negatigers to tell how the sky is falling?!...lol Where are you, chumps!

I'll bite.

I'm still very skeptical about this team.

I hope TV is great but I till I see it in the field I reserve judgement.

Second, the defense could be the best ever. But we still have the same 2 guys running the offense and calling the plays. I don't see any reason to expect much improvement offensively as long as Les and Cam are running the show.

Yes, although I'm not a doom and gloom type, I am a bit skeptical on each player no matter how highly ranked that has not played a college snap on every team. not just LSU. Every year teams bring in players that for whatever reason fall far short of expectations for their careers and some never play a significant snap.. I actually like to see something for myself.

I'm happy Valentine is on the team and hope he does very well and always look forward to seeing which newbies grasp their chances.

When is A lack of faith healthy Me . I look fore ward to a great season every year and every year nothing is perfect but maybe this year if not maybe next year with Coach Miles we always have fighting chance for a N championship !

The Negatigers are practicing their lines and working on their typing skillz. They are training for the long haul.

You'll change your tune when you see nothing has changed on the offense.
