I have a friend in Dallas that got tickets to the 2005 Red River Rivalry game and invited me to fly in. Wore some LSU gear to that. Most of the Texas folks were cool, light good natured ribbing. The OU fans were still seething from 2003, it seemed. More than a few F bombs and Katrina cracks. Probably didn't help that Texas kicked their arse that day.

Did you threaten to take away the Louisiana Purchase card?

If you go to a ULM game rocking P and G, you'll get scolded by their head coach.

A former co worker once brought a lot of his family and friends to a Tulane home game a few years back. His group numbered somewhere around 25 - 30, most of them sporting some type of LSU gear. He said that a couple of Tulane students were giving him crap, wondering what so many LSU fans were doing at a Tulane game. He told one of them, "judging by the stands, I'd say that we're doubling your attendance."

Good question.

I was actually wondering about this because I'd like to go to the Oregon/Tennessee game in 2013 and wasn't sure what to wear.

LSU hat and neutral colors it is.

Or I could be a dick and wear a Beavers shirt.

When I go to other games I'll usually buy a shirt there and some souvenirs for the family. I still wear the LSU cap.

I wore an LSU ballcap to a U LA LA game a few years back and got some very snide remarks. People were telling me to go back home and I was like I am home, I live in Laffy...then they would start with that support your local school BS. I went on LSU's offweek. I will NEVER EVER go to a other ULL football game. They have so much hatred towards LSU and I do t get it. I went to root them on and got F'd with most of the game. Finally told my chick she could stay but I was going to the bar. She is a ULL alum but LSU fan.

I dated a guy that was a Tulane graduate. He insisted we go to a Tulane game at the Dome. When I found out we were going to see the Greenies play UNC Tarheels, I wore a Tarheels shirt.

NEVER would I wear Olive Green and Blue and had I not had a Tarheels shirt (my sister went to grad school there), I would have worn the P&G.
