Highly unlikely.

Lee only broke 200 once last season (213 against Miss State).

He got close in 2008 against Georgia because we were getting absolutely crushed and had to sling the ball for any chance to come back.

That team was coached by Miles and we threw it 44 times in a game against Alabama . . . Miles will throw the ball if he has a QB that he can trust.

I like Les (not perfect but a great coach), but Crowton was engineering the O in '07 and '08 (IMO). After '08, Les embraced a paradigm shift - conervative ball control O, great D, and special ST's. That's his approach now (and very little wrong with it - just probably need to get a little more proficient in throwing it to keep teams honest).

"Ummmm...Lee throwing for over 300...now that's seems like something I would remember....kinda like the BlueGrass Miracle :)" If he has been given the opportunity to play an entire game he very easily and regularly could have had 300 yards, but you're not gonna get 300 yards when you are rotating with JJ

Now I seem to remember several games where jj wasnt even on the team and then several more where it was only 2-3 series per game. JLs inadequacies can not be blamed on jj just as jjs inadequacies cannot be blamed on jl. Each had their problems and they are both gone. Hope they catch on with a practice squad

So bringing up Bradshaw is a terrible example, unless you mean to say that we should be able to win championships with even a crappy QB.

We almost did.

I think it was Hatch against Auburn in 08...

But, I could be wrong.

"Bradshaw was not an all-time great."

Before I even looked, I said to myself, this person is young. Yep. He was born the last year Bradshaw played. The game changed so much with significant rule changes since then (especially since 1978) so you simply cannot go on stats. 2 Super Bowl MVP's, a league MVP, of course the 4 Super Bowl titles, not to mention size, athleticism, and an insanely strong arm. Whatcha gonna do?

Only because les honestly had to.

Flynn put them in a bind by throwing 3 int's in the game, but rallied back with 3 TD's.

Lsu was playing from behind the whole game and if not for a miracle play by chad jones, that ending gets pretty dicey

Thank you. The guy is in the HOF for a reason. He called his own plays for crying out loud.
