Maybe he was trying to get away from the Arkansas fans outside.

No. Mike's decline is real.

They need to put some tiger pussy juice in the cage.

Word is that they aren't trying anymore this season. Dr. whatshisname who is in charge of Mike says he is going through a "transition phase" and "doesn't like the loud music and people." He won't be out for a while. If you go by his habitat you won't even see the trailer up to the door.

I say don't feed him for a couple of days and throw a huge prime rib in the cage. Problem solve.

Wrong...the trailer was at his door before the Ole Miss game.

What's the point in even having him then? What a waste of time, money and space.

Seems like they announced at around lunch time that he wouldn't be coming. Seems kinda early to me. Do they expect him to sit in there for hours? Maybe that's why he doesn't like it.

Actually they announced it at 8:30 am on Twitter. I guess they aren't trying or they try to load him 10 hours early.

I say they are saving him for a special appearance just before kick-off at the next home game that will put the crowd and team over the edge to destroy those pussies from Tuscalooser.

At this point, I really think the truck stop tiger can do what Mike does and more.

We aren't being bama with a tiger that won't even get into his cage.

It's that "I'm from Louwezanna" song. Can't blame him.

There's been a lot of construction around the stadium and the new addition is much louder and brighter. I'm sure it has agitated him in his habitat a little bit.

Would you get in that trailer if you were him? frick. That.

He's a beautiful animal and love having him on campus. I have no problem with him not being in the stadium if he chooses not to be. Our vet school is world class and if they say that's what is best, that's what is best.

They should just put him on a leash and walk him to the stadium.

I am usually all animal rights "aware" and have a great conscience towards seeing animals live in a healthy, natural habitat. That said, Mike is not living any sort of normal existence one would expect of a Tiger. His habitat, although beautiful, is basically a large cage with greenery and a pond. I think if we are going to have a Tiger in that environment, it is the height of hypocrisy for the vet school to curtail an hour in a cage for fear of his "environment" when he has numerous kids, students, and gawkers pressed up against his "habitat" at any various time of day. He's not a normal Tiger folks and doesn't live a normal life. He needs to go into the cage for the games. Not saying we use a cattle prod or anything "barbaric" by today's standards, but what's wrong with a little incentive like training or reward. I'm calling for carrots and not sticks.

They need to do whatever needs to be done to get him in the trailer. If a little "encouragement " is needed, do it. It's not going to hurt the tiger physically or mentally. I'll repeat, he's not going to get in the trailer by himself.
