Anytime a season results in a losing season the grade is an F no matter the recruiting.

A 500 record gives you a D- and with a solid recruiting class that brings his overall grade to a D+.

The role of a head coach is more based on product/results on the field than his initial recruiting ranks.

Next year cannot be anywhere near a 500 record.

A D for coaching and an A in recruiting, especially with all the chaos this year. To hold this class together and pick up some really good players also ( hopefully keep the committed players and gain 2-3 really good ones later ), that was/will be a great achievement.

F.

Recruiting means nothing if he keeps his head up his arse and doesn’t command the respect of the team.

If he can beat Ole Miss this weekend and sign some quality OL with our remaining spots, I would bump him up to a B-.

So a 0.500 season where your defense was historically bad and you only beat 1 of the legitimate teams on your schedule gets him a B- ?

What in the fricking hell are you drinking sir, because I would love to partake.

He get's a D from me.

Great recruiting class, but he allowed all sorts of talent to walk during this season. Can he avoid that next year? Maybe, but like everything, he has to show it.

D

He said himself he would hire the best coordinators
He said himself the defense was light years better than last

He has failed so far.. again with an Oline haul.

D- for the season. Great win vs UF, but losses to Moo St and Missouri counteract that.

B+ recruiting, losing those 2 flips to Bama kept it from being an A

I'd give him an I.
Most of us thought the Pelini hire was fine last winter. Linehart (sp) had pro background. Hind sight is 20/20. Who expected him to lose 30+ players from the 2019 team. Or his starting QB 3 games into the season. He had a seasoned back up, but, well you know the story. So he is left with two true freshmen. His fault?
I have also liked O's CEO style. Hire good people & let them do their jobs. Adjust as you see fit. That didn't work this year.
So I give him an I for 2020 & expect improvements for 2021. Yesterday was day 1. He did great. Staff adjustments going forward is step 2. Let's see what 2021 brings. He would be on a simple Pass/Fail. 9-3, 10-2 w/NY6 bowl is Pass in my book. But remember, he is not playing in the ACC or Big12.

Season: D- I've a very hard time understanding how a program like LSU is in the position it is to be fighting to finish at .500. That should never happen here.

Recruiting: B- I give this grade because we're great at getting recruits, but we do a bad job of recruiting existing players to stay in the program. We gotta figure this out.

All things considered so far, I would say a D+

If we win on Saturday, that will probably give him a C- for finishing at .500

Coaching: D- Defense has been atrocious and offsensive line is bad.

Recruiting: Incomplete only because ONE offensive lineman signed, update once all signing class is completed.

"A" The team he built was considered impossible by most fans, even up until the Alabama game.
He gets a pass on this Covid season. It means nothing.
Its miraculous what he has accomplished with the recruiting.

We are primed for another run in 2022.

D+ on the season. B+ on recruiting. Season would be worse grade if not for Florida and could move to a C with a win vs Ole Miss. Recruiting could move to an A with a good finish or more Olineman

For coaches the he hired: F

For the season: C-

For recruiting: B++ ...only because this class is short on linemen

Personal life....please keep pictures off the internet....this is the worst of all.....has any other SEC coaches posed for the internet with their girlfriend? Just sayin.

Off season - F from the end of the championship game until the beginning of the season there have been a lot of bad decisions.

In season/Coaching - C- The Florida win keeps this from being worse.

Recruiting - B Solid class considering the problems going on. Still weak on the OL but still time to remedy that. This grade can improve to an A if more OL help is added.

At least things appear to be trending back in a positive direction.
If we replace any coaches the next ones need to be upgrades are we will be rinse and repeat for next year.
