I honestly think it's the passion that the players bring. In all sports, you can really tell how much these guys (and girls) love wearing the purple and gold. Especially since most of them are from LA.

I think that passion rubs off on the fans and that's why most of us get so damn frustrated when we have mediocre seasons.

It is my alma mater. The team I feel like I have a right to cheer for because I invested my time, money and education there. The sports would be my break from the school stresses. Thankful LSU offered cheap prices for students to attend games. Because it was an escape. Also glad they encouraged good grades in order to receive tickets. Would even support them raising those standards.

Sure I have my professional teams but I don't feel as close to those organizations as I do all of LSU sports. I remain very close to the people I went to LSU with and truly believe in the LSU family.

The camaraderie between all LSU fans. I know, that no matter the situation, we will all rally behind our coaches and players, and give them the support that they need to help them through the tough times. Oh, I know that there may some differences of opinion at times, but I can rest assured, knowing that we will debate topics in a cordial and constructive manner, while always taking the thoughts and feelings of the other person into account before responding. NEVER, would we wish for any of our players or personnel to do poorly, and we will always respect the wishes of those that choose to transfer, or not attend LSU at all.

God bless America, and GOD. BLESS. L...S...U!!!

Unfortunately, there is no emoticon that is adequate.

Watching Johnny Jones bring LSU basketball back to national relevance in a very appropriate timespan.

Being able to look forward to all athletics after one season is over. LSU is fun although miles is sucking the fun out of LSU football
