Somehow I knew you would point to that.

The fulfillment of the hope that Coach O was going to whip the DL into shape. Those boys are coming, getting better every week. DLU is back on track.

Jefferson. Losing Mills hasn't hurt the team at all. If anything, he's been even better. Our secondary play has been ridiculous. I thought there would be at least a little bit of growing pains.

Dural. I've thought he was all hype and was going to be passed up on the depth chart by younger guys. Instead, he's been clearly our best receiver, and he's asserted himsefl as one of the best players on the team.

No turnovers, we expected that from Fournette. How many expected that from Harris, he hasn't mishandled any, and he's involved on every play.

I was going to post the same thing.

I will say that Toliver has exceeded my expectations so far. It wasn't that long ago we were talking about Paris possibly starting opposite White.

Not sure I'm surprised by the good things that are happening, I probably had higher expectations than most going in. I guess the biggest unknown for me was how the players would respond to Steele and apparently they responded very positively.

Offensive line and Tight ends contributing so much to LF7s success. Also BH6 ability to read the Defense and make corrections at the line.

Yes indeed! The Oline has performed extremely well. And look at Harris, he doesn't make any mental mistakes, he doesn't mismanage the team, he doesn't get sacked or lose the ball. How many expected that?

There are many but I would have to go with John David Moore. Thought Melvin Jones would be a monster there and when he was out, I was worried. JDM has done great in the 1st 2 games.

very few discipline related penalties (offsides, illegal procedure). Plus, it's once again fun and enjoyable to watch the offense!

I've felt like that this week too.

I like that LF had 228 but the team had 411 rushing. That's a huge confidence boost for the O-line and other backs. BHarris as well, who probably wants to show his arm, sees nothing there and tucks and runs for huge gains. I like it. IMO he isn't looking to run, but if he has too he can do it well

For me it has been Harris' running/scrambling ability. Really gives our offense a whole new dimension and makes us VERY difficult to game plan for.

The effectiveness of our dline to apply pressure. I knew our dline would be solid against the run but I didn't expect our dline to be ranked in the top 4 in sacks per game.

John David Moore

We are so used to HUGE blocking FB's and JDM doesn't look the part. Dude's got serious game though.
Clapp has been a big bonus, too
