What would it take for Coach O to win you over?

What's the magic formula that it would take for you to want Coach O be our next Head Coach?
Mines 7-1 and gotta beat Bama. If he was able to pull that off I would be all for him if we can't land Herman.

I mentioned it in another thread, but if Coach O does enough to be kept, what are you going to do with Ensminger? If we're 6-2 is he now the OC of the future too?

He goes 6-2, preferably better, and we strike out on our big names. I don't want choice 5 or 6. To me there is a sharp drop off on our list after Herman and Fisher. I place O at #3 if he does 6-2 or better and the team looks really good in the losses.

Go undefeated from here on out. It's what I would expect of a worthy coach with this much talent.

For him to say I want to stay a tiger put me back at D-line with my boys and stay in the recruiting process. Bring in Herman or Fisher and watch we can all do together.

Coach O has already won me over. However, I still don't want him as LSU's full time coach.

after he beats Bama, you give him a 5 year deal and put Dylan Moses on speed dial.

I don't have a "record"
I need to see growth and competence in the offense. Energy and corrections. Efficiency in getting plays called, etc.
To completely turn things around and meet an arbitrary record is a tough pull.
Now, 7-1 beat Bama certainly makes it a "no brainer".
But, if I see the coaching quality, etc. Then, it would make me comfortable if LSU identified its A List and went after the top guys. if unsuccessful, quickly fall back to O.
Remember. he is doing this with Ensminger as OC. I appreciate him. But,there can be an upgrade there and a complete revamp of offense next season. He has a GA elevated to LB coach.
I'd simply want to know his vision and his ability to handle the administrative tasks of HC.
I am certain of his energy, desire, and recruiting abilities. If he were to bring in a top OC, LB, and DL coach (Pete is a HERO...but, not a permanent DL) I am sure he would be an upgrade over the most recent past HC. And, truthfully....an upgrade there is all that is necessary for LSU to be a monster.

Needs to go at least 6-2 and Fisher/Herman not be available. I would give O the job though if he goes undefeated or goes 7-1 with a win over Bama
