I was on the 10 yard line for that one as well (UK play). He was credited with a sack, a forced fumble, a recovered fumble, and a touchdown. In a game where we were going to roll if we had played just the second strings, TM7 showed out. The kid always plays with heart, and is more likely than not to do something you may not have seen before on a football field every Saturday. I'm still really butthurt that I'm not going to see him in the royal colors again, but I will go to the grave a believer in the honey badger.

I wish him success at whatever school he transfers to and in the NFL. He'll be greatly missed.

I wish him failure at every level. Not trolling, either. Dead serious.

Because he had all the talent in the world, and a team of LSU players counting on him to help win a NC. And after getting caught on numerous occasions before, and given chances, he chose say eff it, and get kicked off the team. Honestly, think about it, how much self restraint and discipline does it take to not "break team rules" (aka smoke pot)?

Why anyone would wish him success, after he shits on the LSU nation, I'll never understand. And the message he sends to other kids coming up is horrible. I want them to see the results of selfishness being failure.

So even if the last thing the person does before they leave LSU is willfully shite on them? Is it just anybody, or only good players? Like, if a 2nd teamer shits on them, because they didn't start, you would not want them to succeed? At what level of player do you excuse the shitting? I'm sincerely curious.

The fact that there are so many different answers in this thread speaks volumes. I had never seen a player like Tyrann Mathieu. God I Hope he ends up a Saint

Do you think that he is the only player in college football, or on the LSU team that for that matter, that smokes pot? Don't get me wrong, what he has done is selfish and immature, but he was still a great tiger during his tenure. I guess i just don't hold a grudge for the kid after watching him play with so much heart. And while he could have used his twitter to send yet another retarded and arrogant message after his dismissal, he chose to thank LSU and and its fans and wished us a successful year and title run.

Y'all do realize Chad Jones, Jai Eugene, Rahem Alem, Keiland Williams and so on all smoked pot like everyday. Mathieu just got popped..more than enough. We still look at Jones as a tiger great ,but should we? Absolutely and I will always think of Mathieu as one of the best and wish him the best.

Punt return vs Georgia where he juked the whole team and nearly scored

This one gets my vote because it was a national audience with the game on the line and he was already legend at that point. When you see someone build a reputation like he did through the season last year and then deliver (both PR's actually) on queue it is amazing to watch.

My favorite.

Second favorite...

Tyrann Mathieu frustrates Florida so badly they lose their composure...

1. Second UGA punt return where he almost scored.
2. Completely horizontal INT against A&M in the Cotton Bowl.
3. Deflected INT against WVU
