there should have been at least 2 time outs left (and probably 3) but cam fricking Cameron couldn't get the plays in on time and our QB had to cover his arse by calling TO. then, a time out would have been beneficial to review the situation (or should have; I wonder what they do in those time outs sometimes).

however, yes, BH should be aware of the situation in the game and should not have thrown that pass. and hell the WR was open and about 10 yards ahead of the DB that the ball was thrown to. it was almost like BH is either color blind or he panics under pressure. (I suspect that too).

One of those was on Harris. He could have let the game clock run down and proceeded to the 4th quarter with two TO in his pocket

I agree, but Brett Favre did it too. Fwiw, which is nothing. That was total stupidity and it comes from lack of understanding, lack of preparation, lack of situational awareness - all wrapped up into a lack of coaching. Couple that with our entire team being unprepared and on their heels for the entire first half of the game, Les inexplicably going for it and serving them up an easy 3 points to end the half, and what should have been a 10-14 point win becomes yet another Les loss. Geaux Tigers....

Les Miles is my coach so no matter what I'd do, I'll still be the starter.

Not coached properly

Harris is merely a symptom of a deeper problem, it has nothing to do with these players and the sooner this understood and accepted the sooner LSU moves forward, though it will not be an easy trip

He panics. He is not mentally strong.

The OPs take is spot on and the final straw for me with not only Harris but Miles. Harris does not have it between the ears.

Historically we have seen that less talent and more smarts will equate to more victories than more talent and less smarts.

Colby would've won that game.

It reminded me of when JJ threw the ball away in the BCS. Find out what JJ was thinking and you will know what Harris was.

Probably just not having a clue how to make the offense work and pressing anyway.

The starting QB position should now be open.

Wasn't a smart play by Harris, but Clapp needs to share in the blame

This. You're moving into FG range and what does clapp do? He jumps before the snap. Bonehead

Do you see a trend? JJ, Jennings, Harris... It's not just one bad quarterback, it's been most of the quarterbacks. That falls on coaching. Fire Miles!

cam fricking Cameron couldn't get the plays in on time

This is obviously a communication problem. No one can stand up and say, "Coach, if we do it that way, it'll frick everything up." So, as the clock is running, Les gives Cam an idea of what kind of play he wants. Then Cam has less than 10 seconds to pick one out or it'll be a delay. You've got 2 people calling the plays. It takes twice as long.
