I am sure that a new coach could win more games with the same players if he can get them to play hard on defense. But how you can coach players to hold on to the ball better or make them stronger is beyond coaching. Still I hope that we do get a new coach and that your right and that makes a big difference.

I believe a good coach, with presence, vision and motivational ability can get players to accomplish both of those things you mention...without question.
