This is the most talented team we've had since 09'. Is it win it all or bust? Omaha or bust? Not two and barbeque? What do we need to do for this season to not be considered a failure?

Two wins in Omaha at a minimum.

Or the Rant Fantasy...

Go undefeated the rest of the way blowing out every opponent on our way to the title, then fire Manieri.

2-2 in Omaha was the expectation floor before the season started, and it remains the floor now.

Playing in the winners bracket in Omaha would be enough for me...But I disagree that this is the best team we have had since '09

IMO, they need to win some games in Omaha. For all of the consistency regarding national seeds & SECt championships, I think LSU only has one victory in Omaha this decade.

Anything past 2 wins would be icing on the cake with how lucky/unlucky the sport of baseball can be.

As I said in another thread, CWS win first game and work from there.

And for me it's more about Mainieri than the team. He's a very good coach, if he wants to be elite he needs to bring a team deep into the CWS after 2009.

1st goal - SEC

2nd goal - Omaha

Final goal - Champs

If we get there I think this team will be ready and determined.
