Not the bad play... he's just not very good but the effort is definitely there and for that I'm grateful.

HOWEVER... when he looked like he was about to scramble up the middle then threw it at Ware's back only to have it intercepted it looked like he was blaming Spencer. WTF.

He DID blame Ware... Just like he blamed the linemen and center for the fumbles. He blamed everyone around him for his mistakes. I felt as if as the game wore on the Offense gave up on Jefferson. They let him sink ... He kept changing the plays at the line and it was always horrible when he did, makes me wonder what the first play was that he always changed. He couldn't handle the snap and made bad reads and decisions all night yet if you ask him he played lights out and it was the rest of the offense that was horrible.

And I agree Jefferson was never a good QB, The best part about Jefferson was his feet and we had several backs who could have and did do just as much and more in that area. Our offense has always struggled under Jefferson and he has always blamed WRs for not catching balls over thrown or in the dirt, Linemen for him not avoiding the pressure and getting sacked etc etc or pouts on the sideline when Lee is in. Dude was a selfish thug and I am glad he is gone

What bugs me is ive never ever seen a senior qb with this much experience on a good team be so consistently bad. Normaly the qb either gets better or gets benched.

I was a bit surprised last night... he usually plays with a bit of confidence even while stinking it up. Last night he played scared from the very first series, as evidenced by the fumble.

I deliberately avoided all news and this site until now. Didn't know he had said that. Wow.

How can you learn from your mistakes if you never recognize that you made them? Is it any wonder he never progressed as a QB?

The real problem lies with his daddy Les. He saw the game the same way. His boy JJ was let down by the rest of the team.

JJ has never acknowledged making a mistake and has acted like he is entitled to be the starting qb. Go back to last year when he put up 4 yards of total offense and was quoted as saying he thought his play was fine. He was quoted going into the spring as saying he had been here for 4 years that is why he was starting!

Still wondering what the JJ curve is when the coaches are grading film of his play!

Jefferson would have fit well with the gumps. IMO he acts as though he was entitled to the QB position. H created the mess last night with his less than adequate performance. He seemed to blame everyone but himself. Sat on the bench and pouted like a spoiled child. Not once did I see his sorry rear trying to fire up his team. Not one ounce of leadership from a so-called senior QB that has been the primary contributor for a putrid offense for pretty much 3 seasons. Damn glad he will never take another snap for LSU. We have endured two of the worse QB’s in the last ten years and they are responsible for three of the worse defeats LSU experienced [Alabama & Auburn] 2002 and Alabama 2012 NCG [Marcus Randle & Jordon Jefferson] Therefore, we do not need this Randle that is currently on the team. Bad omen. Thank God & Greyhound Jefferson is gone
