What kind of return is LSU getting on their highest paid coaching staff?

It's almost unbelievable that our staff of assistant coaches is the highest paid in the nation.
Cam is the highest paid assistant in the nation. Steele is top 10 as a DC.
Besides Coach O and Frank seems like everyone else is very replaceable.
Kudos to their agents though. They really took LSU to the woodshed.

The nicest coaching staff in all of football. Full of quirks and zany antics.

LSU pays its assistant coaches $5.4 million.
Bama pays its assistant coaches $5.2 million.
LSU pays its head coach $4.3 million.
Bama pays its head coach $7.1 million.
Anyone care to do the math?

I don't know. What time period is reasonable to measure your rate of return. Last year at the Bama game I was sitting in the Bama players section and they all hated Kiffin (his first year) because of his QB's play. Now, in year two, they are all ecstatic and hope he doesn't leave. Their perceived one-year return was awful, but the two-year return seems to be pretty nice. Not that I really care, I just have some time on my hand and wanted to burn up your trhread with mindless gibberish. Since the rate of return can change drastically from year-to-year, what you really should look at is the trend. In which case you can make a better, informed decision.

What kind of return? 4th in the west and trip to Texas bowl against a 7-5 Texas tech.
Seems like an easy answer

i'll bet most of the other major programs are very close to what we pay. you can't tell me a&m's isn't damn close as they pay sumlin a million more than miles and the chief about half a million more than steele.

Riveting commentary.

Why you get so defensive? I didn't attack anyone, just posed a question based on a USA today article I read. Cam is the highest paid offensive coordinator in the nation. Our offense isn't even competitive in the west.
