I have fond childhood memories of being in Tiger Stadium to watch 2-8 LSU beat Arkansas 35-10 with Rohan Davey at QB in 1999 after firing Dinardo

Since you are a basketball guy, I'll throw this one out there. The greatest airball in LSU basketball history.

1989. LSU-Georgetown in the Superdome. Record crowd of 54,321. Tie game. Seconds ticking down. Russell Grant shoots what he thinks is a wide open 3...but Alonzo Mourning shows up out of nowhere to get a piece of the shot. The ball floated toward the rim way short, but it landed in Ricky Blanton's hands under the basket, then Blanton lays it in at the buzzer to win the game.

28 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday...even though I was sitting about a half mile from the court

skullfricking Lute Olson in 1999

ETA: maybe it was 2000... 99-00 season was glorious sans Albuquerque

Wing taunting Florida going into the end zone is something I'd never seen. Most amazing season ever, even without the Natty.

The PP7 windmill was great in that 4th qtr at MSU, but Chad Jones at the goalline on defense in that same game is one of my favorite moments of all time watching LSU. Just brilliant.

The Shawn Burks flying hit in the fight at the end of the 1984 LSU-Tulane game.

Yes kiddies, the LSU-Tulane football game used to be every bit as intense in the 70's/80's as Bama-Auburn/Ole Miss-Miss.State.

The arse beating we gave Brady Quinn and Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. One of my favorite games to watch ever because of the hatred I had for the Irish. This game never gets talked about enough

Beating the eventual national champion on their home field, beating the eventual orange bowl champion on their home field, beating the eventual rose bowl champion at neutral site, beating florida and auburn ALL in the same year was freakin' incredible until Floyd's $8 million bet bought us a loss in the final game that year. Incredible run.... Will never be duplicated EVER. Earthquake game was underrated too. Field was covered with NFL defensive draft picks. Slobber-knocker.

You can tell a lot about the age of people in this thread

It is almost like sports at LSU did not exist prior to 1990
