The come back against UCI was pretty good stuff.
That was the Super Regional, but that's okay.

This is the correct answer.

Favorite part of that inning, the ump coming over and telling the pitcher coming in...there's still only one out...every time there was a pitching change that inning.

The regional where beating South twice- i think it is the 1997 game or in the 90s? I was 11 and can barely remember. That's my favorite because my grandfather took me to those games that sunday. He has mild case of alzheimers yet still remembers that game. Special moments in the old box. I hate seeing her torn down.
We all have great memories stuck in the back of our minds. Thanks for rekindling them tonight- some i haven't thought about in over 10-15 years.

Rich Cordani's homerun late in the game to help beat SCAL in 1990. The Box didn't hold as many people back then, but man, that place was rocking for that game ... the first time I'd experienced anything like that outside of football.

In 2003, after one of our games, UNC Wilmington was going to play Tulane next, and as the teams walked out onto the field, the whole stadium started chanting "Let's go Seahawks"...that was pretty awesome. They did the victory lap with us after the championship game, if I remember right.

Gotta go with the Texas A&M regional too. I remember listening to both the games on the radio Sunday, the blowout in game 1 and the tense excitement of game 2. I mean wow A&M was no.1 all year and LSU just took it from them on their home field.

LSU had been to the CWS a few times prior to this, but this really was the first baseball game where I thought it was absolutely incredible.
In some kind of way, it was the catalyst for winning all those national championships to come in the next few years.

1999 facing elimination, coming back late to beat ECU, then destroying them on Monday because of the rain delay.
2002 annihilating ULL twice on Sunday.
2005 down 9-1 on Saturday to Rice, hitting two 3 run homers in the 8th to cut it to 9-7. We lost but still awesome at the moment.

My favorite part of all the regionals...
When it got to Championship Sunday, the Advocate always ran about a half page graphic showing LSU's undefeated record in championship rounds (it was about 18-0 before finally losing one game in Skip's last year, but we won game 2). I think it still stands about about 27-4 or something like that.
It's much better than the intimidator. It basically said that it is not uncommon for LSU to lose early in the regional, but it made sure our opponents knew who was advancing out of the Baton Rouge Regional.

1989 at College Station. LSU dogpiling on A&M's home field with 6,000 Aggies watching. Nothing else has come close to that Regional.

ill only include the games i went to
1996 GT game with my grandparents in the absolute hottest weather i can remember, 18 run inning, enough said
1997 south alabama game, the 2nd game was played on a monday due to rain i believe
2008 UC-Irvine game 3...there was a line probably 500-600 people long waiting for standing room only tickets, me, my dad, and uncle are in the line. a vendor walking around selling water stops by us, we get some water, then he pulls us aside and offers us 3 vendor passes for 20 bucks each. we pay the $60, walk right into the stadium, stand in RF...there was no way we were getting tix with where we were standing, and idk what made him ask us, but god bless that fat mexican kid

Me and 2335, at the irvine super game two, rally bottle of beam, every run equaled a shot. That was all that is right with America.

when LSU played VCU late into Sunday night in 2001 after losing game 1...
when we toy with the SWAC teams for 7 innings... did that more than once before erupting.
the 2000 and 2002 Louisiana Invitationals...
