He will be the 2nd RB drafted. Will that be 1st or 2nd? Who knows but he will be the 2nd RB drafted.

He's not a first round projection any longer. His swagger doesn't match the performance this year.

You realize he has been playing with a nagging injury right? Quit sitting on your sofa eating Cheetos acting like you know what’s going on.

He ran better vs Auburn than any other game.

I doubt if Derrius will return to LSU next season.

Will depend on his 40 yrd. time. They have enough tape on him already. If he can run 4.4 flat or lower I think he can go in the late first

what is derrius's future?

Well I'm going to guess that when he wakes up he will start with a good breakfast. Eggs. Bacon. Some grits. Maybe pancakes? He did run hard this weekend. Unless they have waffles because everyone loves waffles. And of course Orange Guice.

way to self centered to stay...
you're selfish if you want a early round runningback to stay in school for free, Guice has done a lot for LSU and is still playing hard. It's insane how u can turn on him for this

Guice will be a better pro than Reggie

He is not a first rounder. possibly 2nd, but I more like 3rd. He hasnt been successful enough without a FB for someone to burn a first rounder in a pass happy league.

Most of the comments on this thread are unrealistic.

1) it's clear from his family /poverty issues, he's been aiming for pro career to get his Mom to a decent place.
His brother...may be too late for that.

2) Comparing him to Reggie Bush? seriously, Reggie was speedy but Derrius has speed +power & Reggie never had that level of power.

3) He's been playing w/ knee problems, and the farther he's progressed, last few weeks, the more he looks like his old self: pushing guys at point of contact.
--heck,
people expect a guy to instantly break off 50-yard runs given knee issues?

Whiskey . Tango . Foxtrot

I would like to see alotta guys here tell their kids or nephew "oh u have knee problems---then your selfish if u don't come back another year."

Grow a pair. Get real.

No way he gets drafted in the first two rounds. McShay can state he's the #2 back all he wants. Where he gets drafted will be luck and team needs. Realistically I think it will be third round. His draft stock has taken a beating this year, but he should still be a rich man
