Alabama over the Dawgs, but Bama will know they have been in football game. I don't think it will be yet another in a series of glorified scrimmage games for the Gumps.

The teams MSU has played have a combined record of 19-32 for the yr, the SEC teams they played are 5-17 for the yr. in the SEC, and after playing a schedule like that they are ranked in the mid-80ies for sacks/tackles for loss.
I guess if NS coached teams can lose to the likes of UAB and UL@M, they can lose to anyone.......

ye of little confidence.... did you see what happended to S. Carolina a week after they lost a hard fought physical battle... early turnovers aside... they still got manhandled by UF a week later. I can't help but think some of the "sting" from being shut down by LSU and pounded by our O Line had a little something to do with that.
I don't really EXPECT an MSU upset... but I do expect them to play with Bama for at least 3 quarters. Hell Ole Miss played them toe to toe for a half, basically.
If it's a clean game (i.e. no USC-type fluky turnovers giving Bama 5 yard "drives) I think MSU can stay within a score or 2... if it gets late in the game and they are within 10 - anything could happen.
One LEGAL hard hit could take out Bama's QB, or a key DB and change the make up of the game.
I look forward to a hard fought game and don't really care who wins -- we have both of them at home in back to back weeks -- and both are MUST WIN games, so regardless of who wins - we have to bring our best to play them in successive weeks.
