If I could pick the outcome, I would choose LSU winning in the last second after overcoming a large deficit because Wisc exposed some major flaws.

There is plenty of time to work on those flaws before getting to the SEC, better to know what they are now.

Doesn't matter that we have a coach that's 111-32 that's won championships because he runs the ball too much and says goofy things sometimes.

First game of there year, against a good team, in a foreign land.

Just win and I'll be content.

Give me his SEC record the past three years. I like Les Miles a lot but to deny his game day coaching ability hasn't slipped is being naive.

The same expectation of at least an sec west title and probably more than that. It's the first game on the road in wisconsin at lambeaux field. Wisconsin is not some pushover team dude. They are a good program and consistently field competitive football teams year-in and year-out. With that being said, I expect lsu to win by at least 10 points. However if lsu plays a little sloppy and has to deal with working out some kinks in the opener and squeaks out a victory then a win is a win in my book. We are a good football team. Lsu will have some close games this year and getting a win in those close games are what separates the great teams from the good ones. Can't wait. Geaux tigers.

Has nothing to do with ability but he needed a bolt and got it. What the issue was youth. We lost to veteren teams for a reason. Arky has some youth but a 5th year qb made the difference. It's all about the departures and having to rebuild depth. Which is on miles so is it on the coach. Absolutely. But the man can still coach and will win another championship.

The last "Championship" was 2011.

That's "Ancient History" in football terms.

LSU is a supremely mediocre 20-12 in the SEC since then...............

I hope you are right , would love to see him win another one. No excuses this year though. There is no reason in the world why this team shouldn't be in the hunt for the playoff in LATE November.

Are fricking kidding me? Off the top of my head in major matchups: VT, Oregon, and TCU....All were ranked. You realize Les Miles has never lost a regular season OOC game right?

THIS

Off top of my head, also add ND and Miami bowl game blowouts. Miami hasn't been the same team since then.

ETA:
We also absolutely destroyed Arizona and Washington in TS. And added a 47-21 beatdown of WVU in Morgantown.

A win is a win, no difference in overall outlook. BIW I'm sure many here recognize the Walrus as a total Bama Troll. Obviously he doesn't really have a live other than Bama FB and Walmart.

Hahahaha ok then, you have it all figured out. Les miles is a damn good coach whether you believe it or not actually. Les is definitely in the elite group of coaches in the entire country and it's not even up for debate. Even the critics who can't stand miles will agree that he is an elite football coach. Check out his career numbers at lsu, they're impressive. He's not done yet, and I am one of the lsu fans who believe les will reach new heights of success starting this year.

There's quite a disparity in the talent levels between the two teams. If it's a close game - especially one that comes down to the last couple of minutes - we may as well resign ourselves to the fact that not much has changed nor will change. It's all about attitude and desire. Hate to use this as an example, but we need to play the big games with the same desire and energy that the Gumps had against us last year.

2005: Miami by 37
2006: Arizona by 42, Notre Dame by 27

2008: Ga Tech by 35
2011: Oregon by 13, WVU by 27
2012: Washington by 38
2013: TCU by 10
2015: Texas Tech by 29

To name a few...

Almost a 2:1 W/L ratio in the SEC West with UF (2012 and 2015 east champs) as your permanent east opponent is supremely mediocre?

Absolutely...

But this arse clown claims we have a joke of a coach because no championship since 2011 and a "mediocre" 20-12 SEC record.

Holy frick

Why are you asking me? We're on the same page...

I didn't make any of those quoted statements. I was also refuting them as asinine.
