I know nobody believes it can happen....but what would the national media say....Bilas etc....if LSU did the unthinkable and made the run to win the SEC title, and then won the NC? Would this whole "A cautionary tale of Ben Simmons" crap go away? God I wish this would happen as I'm sick of hearing this crap.

What happens when we lose our first tournament game and are at best a 5 seed in the NIT?

They would be the lowest seed to win the NCAAT so I imagine the media would love it.

Well, then everything would be just as it currently is. More "Failed Ben Simmons Experiment" b.s. I suppose.

I believe they have the talent to do so, but I don't believe Jones has the coaching ability to put them a position to make such a run. With that said, I think they are 1 and done in the SEC tourney. There's way too much conflict inside the locker room for them to make the type of turnaround your are suggesting.

Might be better than sitting in the Orleans Parish jury pool right now.

More like when it happens. The Tigers are going all the way. I'm just going to say it now so that when it happens I will already have a seat on the bandwagon when all you naysayers try and jump on after the sweet 16.

It could happen easily if Simmons played like half of the hype.

What if LSU football had a 5 game winning streak over Bama? Would we be awesome?

There's a better chance of Louisville winning the national title.

Is it really a failed Ben Simmons experiment? He's not the glaring issue.

Bilas and andy katz would give johnny jones and the rest of the team some credit, while the rest of the talking heads would say the great ben simmons won the ncaa tournament by himself despite being held back by a horrible supporting cast and terrible coaching.
