I expect Miles to realize he needs to start Etling against MSU. Wouldn't be surprised though if Harris would need to come in to provide a jumpstart later in the game. Miles is a stubborn guy but I think he finally realizes his job is truly at risk so he is going to try a few things he wouldn't have in past years. Not saying it will work but he is backed into a corner now.

If Harris is starting a state I'm pretty much done with LSU football until miles leaves.*

If Harris comes in and earns a spot down the road then that's a different story.

* yes I'm aware it doesn't mean two shits to LSU or any of you if I watch or not. OP asked, though.

No point.

Harris can't go through the progression with 2 WR's. He just stares down 1 the whole time, then throws it 8 feet over his head.

Even the TV analyst were pointing out his incorrect footwork.

ETLING earned the QB start. I expect him to improve with more reps. I did not see any improvement in Harris.
Harris may be really important for the LSY football team down the road, but right now the starter needs to be Etling.
IF CLM goes with Harris, he will lose more fan support and the game against Moo State. I suspect CLM has lost his job already, but time will tell.

He started JJ all year in 2010 despite the fact that Lee had to step in and save his arse numerous times. GW drives against UF and UT (despite the fact that JJ nearly screwed it up after Lee drove them down the field). 2011 was bad, but Lee earned the job and 2010, but it took JJ getting arrested to finally go with Lee.

He started JJ over Jarrett Lee against Bama. We know how that worked.

We also know what happened when Les started over Jefferson against Alabama in November. I bet Les still has nightmares because of that night.

Honestly I think he will start Hariris and it may be a good idea??? Etling looked best when he was brought in with the crowd going nuts like he's the man to save the day!!!!..He'll be brought in about the 3rd series again...

It would not surprise me at all if Harris starts Saturday. I'm actually expecting it.

First 2 plays of the game were 3 WR, 2 RB and shotgun. They switched to I-formation when it was 3rd and 2, but Clapp false-started. So on 3rd and 7 they went back to shotgun 3 WR, this time with 1 RB and 1 TE who also went out for a pass.

Harris just sucked last night, accept it

I would start DE and let Harris come in relief if necessary. That would give Harris a chance to be "settled down" and be more relaxed.

I have seen this with starting pitchers fairly often. some guys just can't take the pressure of opening the game; their adrenaline must be off the charts. but they can come in after the game starts and pitch long relief, often 6 or 7 innings.

if BH is this way, it could bode well for us. if Etling struggles give BH a shot.i see nothing wrong with the 2 QB approach in this situation.
