When going into their second year for a QB...What has more value, playing live snaps in some meaningful situations as a true Freshman or red-shirting as a true Freshman?

Depends on the player. One of the more disappointing parts of the QB situation last year was watching how little Harris paid attention to the games last year. He may as well have been in the stands on his iPhone. I'm glad he was forced to play and wish he had played more since that seemed to be the only way to get him mentally involved.

The only clear answer to this assumes both QBs stay in the program for their entire eligibility.

Yea, Harris should've paid attention so some of Jennings' greatness would've rubbed off on him huh? Not sure how you can even verify that Harris never watched the games unless you went to every single game and stared at him the entire time anyway.

True, but he did seem disengaged at times
