Kind of a morbid question, but will he be buried somewhere on campus? Or will he be cremated?

Cremated and buried with a few of his predecessors.

According to the press release a few days ago when they said they were monitoring his condition, his remains will be cremated and displayed next to the cremated remains of Mike V.

I totally missed it. Glad I wasn't the only one who wanted to know.

Can any of his organs be used for science prior to cremation?

I found Mike IV's cremated remains in the athletic department building when I was a student worker.

Does LSU still have the preserved tiger in the Natural History Museum on campus? I believe he was either Mike III or IV?

Isn't one of the original Mike's mounted behind glass at Ralph & Kacoo's on Bluebonnet in BR?

I'm pretty sure Harambe will slowly fall from the sky, lift Mike onto his powerful shoulders, and float away peacefully into heaven.

We have a taxidermist here in Arkansas that takes dead animals mostly peoples pets , has a machine that preserves them to look just like they did alive . Discovery channel had him on for almost a year . It's amazing how these animals turn out when he is done . It would be cool to do this with mike

Thankfully, LSU doesn't have the stupid tradition that Texas A&M, and possibly Georgia, has where they bury the mascot by the stadium.
