Having not pitched this weekend does Bain get a start Friday, or will CPM give him an inning or two this week? Will he stick to the usual rotation?

Lange may be good to start Thursday after a week off and 89 pitches, even on 4 days rest. If so, we could see Bain throw an inning or two against Tulane to keep him fresh, and still bring him back to start Saturday.

If he's gonna save Bain for Saturday you will see him get an inning on Tuesday

You don't think he gets an inning or a couple outs against Tulane either way?

We're not risking Johnny all staff in a game 3 of arguably the most important series of the year. IMO Bain gets an inning or two against Tulane then the start in game 3 sat. We need 3 solid guys throwing against A&M

Maneri needs to be careful with Lange. He missed a start due to tightness in his throwing arm not long ago. Don"t want to push it. LSU will need him in the postseason.

Lange
Poche
Bain

I don't see why it wouldn't be anything else.

Bain will throw an inning against tulane just to keep his rhythm going, it's hard to go two weeks without any game action on the mound.

I could see Poche and Lange switching but I think Lange will be good to go Thursday. 4 days rest after only 89 pitches is fine.

I personally would go bain lange poche, but i can see thr diff arguments. Regardless, i dont think this series is really that important in the grand scheme of things, but it is exciting.

Lange not throwing last weekend was PM being careful with him. I wouldn't look too much into the elbow soreness comment. I'd bet Lange sitting last week was nothing more than PM giving his young pitcher a week off to protect his arm.

It kind of is important. We win the West we likely get a top 8 seed.

Just like every series: a player with an arm

One pitcher Thursday
A different pitcher Friday
And a different pitcher Saturday

well yeah, we can still get a top 8 seed as long as we dont get swept. However, if we sweep, id say lock it in
