What does nicked mean to you?

I see where CLM always refers to players as being nicked or having a nick.
To me a nick is a little pain in the a$$, if you know what I mean.

To an American- nicked means something has a little dent in it, or an injury if referring to a person
To a Brit- it means steal/stolen
