What does LSU need from SEC tourney?

Obviously a SAeC tournament title would make us a lock for a National Seed, but I'm asking y'all what do you think we need to do at the tourney to make sure we get that National Seed?
I'm asking because if we go 0-2, and UK ends up winning it all, then what happens?

Going O-fer would not be good I think they at least need to get to the finals

My opinion is that LSU just needs to win that first game and you guys will secure a national seed.
I think Kentucky winning it all would be the worst case scenario for LSU, if LSU doesn't win a game in Hoover.
There are only 4 teams who have a shot at a national seed from the league IMO...Florida has one sewn up...LSU just needs to win a game...Kentucky needs to win the tourney...and I think Arkansas would have a shot if it also won the tourney.

Just get 1 win while there so we can use all of our starting pitchers. Tournament doesn't mean much for us this year. But I'm sure many of the posters here will place more importance on it than necessary.

Maybe 1 win...NCAA wants LSU to host in the first two rounds vs UK and most others. Name recognition and most importantly stadium size equals $ for NCAA.

I think if we win 2 we are pretty much locked
Win 1 and I think we are more likely than not still a national seed

Something I really like about CPM is that he always plays to win the SEC Ty.
I think we need to beat A&M then beat UK. Good wins for us since we lost those two series in the regular season.

Why would anyone bring up Stanford while discussing LSU?
Stanford being a national seed will not impact LSU being a national seed.

Just as a reminder, Mainieri's teams are 27-6 in the SEC tourney, winning it all 5 times out of the 8 trips he's made there, and the last two years getting knocked out with only one loss.

I think if LSU wins game 1 and loses to UK and the cats end up winning the tourney then UK would certainly jump LSU imo
