it says we have two young quarterbacks that have basically locked up the top 2 spots on the depth chart and other guys on the roster seeing the writing on the wall that if they ever want playing time, it's in their best interest to transfer

It says we tried to patch some holes with the weak play we'd had at qb lately. Those didn't work out and now they are/were passed by younger players who we plan on building around instead of just "inserting" into a gameplan.
I'm a little dissapointed with Rettig leaving but Rivers was always a project based a lot on bloodline.. and Bolden was never going to play QB here.
I'm a little hesitant about the current situation.. I hope the coaching staff can play jedi mind tricks and have a clear cut leader/starter but also keep the other around and motivated at least until Franks arrives.

It says that Jennings and Harris have separated themselves from the others, and everyone else would only ever play in garbage time or due to both top QBs going down. Since they know they won't see much playing time, they transfer in hopes of getting more.

"It says nothing more than guys who weren't in the race for PT are transferring to places where they will get PT.

I seriously doubt Cam Cameron would prefer not having a 3rd scholarship QB on the roster."

You nailed it.

And what system is this? Mett was a dropback pro-type qb. Before that we had a mix off JJ and Lee. One a runner and the other a more pro type.

We recruited kids that don't fit into our system

Considering how successful our system was last year with Mett, and the differences in skill sets between Met and Harris, I don't think there is such a thing as a talented QB that doesn't fit our system.

It says they got tired of being 4th option WRs in practice and wanted to play QB. So they left. LSU will ride with Harris and Jennings and pray no one gets hurt.

Right but Miles and Cameron have both stated multiple times that they like the dual threat and that the offense is making the shift in that direction. It's pretty clear considering they only recruited a duel threat last year (Harris), are only signing a duel threat this year (Mcmillian) and next year (Franks).

And that's fine. But we have two very inexperienced qb's this year. And with young wr's as well. I see a lot of pounding the rock this year. imo I think Harris will end up being the starter. I just hope a couple losses don't determine that.

I'm just saying, I played against Bergeron. Kid is legit, just may not have the bomb arm we're used to.

Look at the talent STM works with compared to St. Aug.

I mean BUGA only had like 83 yards on 17 carries against Karr and aside from his receptions didn't rush the greatest in the All-America game but you people won't talk bad about him now will you?

Bad games in HIGHSCHOOL=/= College Bust.

Lol! So I guess all the D1 schools just passed on him for no reason right! Or wait let me guess he just really wants to be a tiger. He is a walk on qb for a reason, i understand that you guys are from the Laffy area but lets face it he is not a D1 qb.

if LSU ends up on Qb#3, it probably doesn't matter who that #3 is, the season is fricked and over. Very few schools have that sorta depth at QB.

I am sure you have a WR or RB that played QB in hs that can take a few snaps if required.
