What do you think about these LSU footballs?

My son wants one as a keepsake, but I think this company "makes" these balls...meaning they're not really "Official Game Football"s? IDK, the damn internet and Christmas mixed is a terrible cocktail.

This company gets the Vapor Elite balls and stamps LSU colors and logos on it? My son has numerous footballs he uses to practice place kicking and punting, so I'm not opposed to buying a nice ball...Just not sure what this company does and $150.

I don’t want a shelf ball.

I got one similar to that at the Burlington coat factory at the old mall in Slidell before it shut down. I think I paid 10$ for the ball and 15$ for one of the purple 18 Jersey that had all the sewn on numbers etc, originaly it was a $150 or so dollar Jersey. It was a huge score that day.

do not pay $150 for that ball

Go to alumni hall and pay 40 bucks for the white signature ball. both embossed with LSU font and Nike check

I'd rather just get him an $80 GST or Nike One game ball and call it a day. At least it's official size and weight and he can practice with it.

Doesn't look the same, probably a replica.

These have really good LSU gear from time to time. Usually the previous season’s Nike stuff for like 75% off. It’s weird, but I stop by the one on Manhattan from time to time to see what they have. It’s hit or miss badly.

Yeah, the balls they use have a purple swoosh, but I’m pretty sure the Tiger face is stamped on and all black...

ETA: Maybe not on the Tiger face, after seeing below post...

Gotta admit, that’s a pretty cool keepsake when you see it in Burrow’s hand.

Looks legit. I'm pretty sure Nike started making the swoosh in team colors this season or last season.

For comparison with Oregon...

My oousin owns Big Game USA that manufactures the college footballs used COAST TO COAST! It is legit and he made every football used by the LSU Football team and most teams in the NCAA! Call him at Big Game USA! They are located in Frisco, TX. It is the real deal!

If it's by Nike, I would throw it in the garbage!

Big Game does the embossing for almost all college football teams. They’re best in the business. Craig Nall works with them still I believe.

They’re legit. I would call the gift shop next to Mikes cage though to see if they have any game used footballs. They’d be worn in and might be $50 less.

Those coasters look pretty nice too.
