It was more of a pitch to the side more than A toss dive.... But it really didn't matter....

It was pretty funny. Sitting next to a Wiscy fan in Sec 122. I said here comes a three runs to the left, the first of which will be a toss dive.

Just before we punted, he said holly shite, how did you know that. I said, I didn't even watch any game film to know that so you can bet Chryst knew it too.

We had bets going in section 109 which direction the toss dive would go prior to the first play.

That's a sucker bet if I ever saw one. First play is toss dive left 100% of the time.

Oh but we're so "tricky" when we embarrass ourselves with confusing words at out press conferences

This game was Miles giving everyone the finger for trying to get him fired last year.

Just once (ONCE) start the game by confusing your opponent with a creative formation, an unexpected play call, anything. Just once.

Hope he enjoyed it. He just humiliated himself on a national stage.

I was more blown away by the regular option play out of the '70's right after that with Harris rolling out and kickin it out to LF. Every now and then they still run that crap something no college team in the country runs.

This is what did it for me. Why in God's name did they run Harris 2 downs in a row (even though he pitched on 2nd down) is beyond my comprehension.

If the goal is to settle him down, running him is not going to do the trick. He has shown that he gets rattled once hit, so I knew from the second play of the game that we were in deep shite.

The purpose of running that play first isn't to make yardage or score. It's supposed to allow our players and o-line to set the tone of the game.

It worked

It looks like the purpose of most of the plays isn't to make yardage or score. Sound strategery.
