I think it was more to do with their shitty pitching and control. Don't think they could have us on purpose if they'd tried.

I think they were struggling with command. That happens when your DH is on the mound.

after the 3rd time, it was intentional

It happened too many times period, and also too many times around the head to be a coincidence. Guess they didn't like losing to us 5 times.

I lost nearly all respect for AC after that game last night.

It was shitty pitchers doing shitty pitcher things.

Embarrassing thread is embarrassing

You ever pitched? I can tell you right now the reaction their pitcher had when KR was plunked was the reaction a pitcher has when he intended to...also why do you think the ump made a move to get between the KR and the pitcher?

Not on purpose - were just missing the catcher's target by 4-5 feet.

Remarkably, all their control issues were up and in?

It's amazing they had no "control issues" with pitches chin high but outside and away from the batter, isn't it?

People are naive if they think those pitches weren't intentional.

Wet ball and humid conditions. Nothing more

Wet balls usually fly high and in (to a righty) for right handed pitchers.

Come on guys, Cannizzaro might not have handled his leaving correctly but throwing at the players he helped raise because he was getting curb stomped? I think a little more highly of him than that. Maybe I'm wrong

Doubt it....he is too close to the players having recruited them and coached them.

on the other hand the pitchers certainly took it upon themselves to bring the high heat.

KR was hit intentionally.

He did that on almost all of the HBP. I don't think the pitcher was upset he hit KR but I don't think he did it intentionally. I hit plenty of guys unintentionally and I didn't act upset about it.

don't believe they had enough control in the first place to be able to intentionally dish out chin music

This. It wasn't as if they threw high and tight once. They were missing high and inside 2-3 pitches an a bat at times it seemed like. They were either determined to hit someone in the head or simply the bottom of the barrel relievers had no control.

You have never pitched before if you don't think a college pitcher can't hit someone if he wants to.
