We all remember Katrina, we know what SC fans are going through. More work needs to be done, it's for a very good cause, it's for innocent people who are suffering like we did.

LSU's done a lot, but it can do more, like providing more incentive for fans to go to the game. For instance, ask past LSU players for help by coming and assisting. Then announce that famous LSU players from the past will be at every entrance to Tiger Stadium to thank all fans who attend the game. Make it happen LSU, and we will be blessed for giving our all to others in need.

Let a lucky fan call 1 offensive play during the game.

It's not a question of want to for a lot of folks. Its a question of prior commitments. Some folks make other plans when the Tigers are on the road. Some can't rearrange in a short turn around. i get it, it would be nice to have a sell out for those folks but sometimes life gets in the way. Doesn't make Tiger fans uncaring if they can't "make it happen".

Only 30,000 tickets sold, someone please tell me this is not true, fill that damn stadium up, do whatever it takes. It's the right thing to do.

At this point the only thing they could realistically do to fill more seats than they will if they stay the course is to drop the price of admission.

Those who are regulars who will not be attending are doing so because of conflicts not related to price.

The seats that are now freed up by these people are not being filled by younger people who simply aren't willing to shell out $40 for an event they were not planning to attend anyways and which they can watch on tv in the comfort of their own chosen setting.

It's all a moot point, if the reports that SC is in charge of ticket pricing are accurate.

SSTOP. There are plenty ways to help out South Carolina without going to a football game. Donate themoney you'd have spent on tickets beer and food to the Red Cross in Columbia for starters. Help directly instead of beating your chest screaming about how "great" we LSU fans are because we sold out a stadium for you.

If you drop the price to you reimburse those that bought the same tickets for more? I guess not. Good way to piss of the first 30000 people that already bought tickets.

meh.

This is for charity right? People who jumped the gun would rather be pissed that others are getting a deal than happy to see a better crowd and more money going to the relief effort?

Can't believe the negative votes, then again maybe I can, this is the rant. There's no reason to be negative, the bottom line is this is really not about LSU football, it's about other fans and players suffering like LSU fans and players suffered in our past. I'm just trying to think of a way LSU could do more, no reason to be so negative over that.
