Is it the number of wins and losses; or the lack discipline and the non existent offense that has no identity.

I bring this up because it may help clear things up for the majority of people here on the rant who dont understand the real reason behind the madness.

What bothers me is the lack of what seems to be a strong Offense and at times a strong Defense. I mean LM can possibly be the worst coach ever, but if he's picking up intelligent coordinators, it doesn't matter since he seems to sideline himself nowadays.

What I personally miss about LM was how arrogant and how excessively aggressive he was. I mean, imagine if that personality of LM was put into the body of Nick Saban. How unbelievable that would be.

frickin' a man.

the fact that maybe sometimes players can't catch the ball or aren't on the same page as the others.

the lack of discipline.

I don't know the stat but LSU sure seemed like it was getting some ridiculously dumb penalties..and then not correcting that lack of discipline.

my point exactly people clamoring about our 9 win season, Miles overall record, NC yr etc. We all know the SEC is tough enough and we cant win them all its the way we have lost thats the problem. If we lack discipline and have no identity then theres some kind of miscommunication between coaches and players and it falls on the coaches cause thats what they get paid millions of dollars for.

When it goes on all season, and doesn't get corrected, it becomes the coaches fault.

I agree and I think the players should be held accountable as well. I think as fans especially now the players are getting a pass because the coaches arent putting them in the right situations.

The lack of disipline and mental mistakes (especially late in the season) are the reason LSU loses games. The little things are magnified in big games.

With our offense, who knows?

You can blame the players all you want, but if they're not performing like they should, it falls on the coaches to correct the mistakes.

If my employees continually don't perform, the boss isn't going to go to them; he's going to come to me, and tell me to make sure the problems get corrected. If I don't use every tool at my disposal to get things right, I fully expect him to find someone who will.

In all seriousness, the complete lack of discipline over the last two years it very concerning. One year we've got Rahim drop kicking footballs on key third down stops, and the next we have no idea how to manage a two minute drill... this is basic stuff that makes talented squads lose 4 or 5 games a year. The level of talent in the top half of the SEC is pretty close. It comes down to game plan, execution, discipline, and "a want" to finish first each day... I'm told we have the latter... as for the first 3, we're SOL with this staff.

We don't have a coach, we have a good recruiter, and a below average CEO.
