You dang right...I will keep cheering my Tigers whether you approve or not.

BTW, if you see being the top 10 and #8 in the BCS as "mediocrity", then you need to run and not walk to a local mental heath provider.

Zero quality wins this season. I have a hard time even considering some of our wins, such as MSU and LT wins considering how pitifully the entire team played in both games.

according to you and a host of other ignorant "fans"

Everybody respects it... for the 1,000th time it's got nothing to do with where we are or have been, it's got everything to do with where we are going.

I read this as:
what I have is never enough, I NEED MORE MORE MORE

the HC of your football team has an .800 WP and you want MORE

the HC of your football team has a 4-0 bowl record and you want MORE

the "worst" season in the past 7 years gave us 8 wins. the last "worst season" before that in the past 7 years gave us......8 wins. In between those two "worst seasons" we have 2 MNCs and you want MORE

and to top it all off you have to have MORE, NOW

you and the "500" others in this thread are the exact kind of "fans" Saban was insulting with the "catastrophe syndrome" quote. You embody so many on this board that try to pretend you have "concerns," but what you have is the burning desire to be right about Miles' inadequacies and you don't care what being right will cost LSU in the process.

well I hope you are wrong

You should not read it as I want MORE. You should read it as I want what we had from 2003-2007. That's not MORE than what we had, that's what we had.

You are one of the people that I alluded to in the original post. You are a random fan. I would never expect someone like you to understand what it's like. Carry on, there are 40,000 other threads on this board that you will fit right in much better than this one.

Get the flute out of your arse, and you will feel better.
You must be 15.

so do 118 other teams. Florida had it. You're not going to get that very often.SEC teams recruit too well.
When you played,ya'll never lost a game?
What was your record. Did your coach block and tackle for you?
Awaiting your response.

I see this on here all the time.

Name me just 2. Just 2 coaches who have a better record over the last 5 years- and a MNC- than Les Miles, who are doing it with less talent/facilities/ etc.

Hell, name 1.

sorry dexter, idk how to answer this. I am happy with the way things are going. Now if we lose to ole miss or Ark again my feelings will change. And no not even a close win will make me feel like we are on a downturn, because these games are usually close. We recruit well, we have been winning the games we were picked to win and i still think with some offensive changes we will win the west next yr.

It appears to be a hard headed coach, who I hope can change and adapt. I may be wrong, but that's my concern. If we win the next two, I can be talked off the ledge, but for now, I'm teetering on the edge of the building.

LSU has experienced the best decade in the history of your program, and it's not over yet. When you've gone thru some of the hardest times in your schools history, you learn real quick to appreciate the good times while there here.

A top 10 national ranking 10 weeks into the season equates to you as a car swerving off the road???

If that's the case, I'm thinking there must be bout 110 other college football programs wishing
there car was swerving much like ours.

The program is in good shape, but will be improved in the off season. I've never seen such a poor offense ranking. I think Les Miles will address all issues with coaches. Just my opinion.

To be honest with you, I don't know whether it is or not.

I believe that by now every reasonable LSU fan should know the loss of RP was a major blow to this football program. His loss had a real impact on both the O and D play. Bless Lee's heart for trying to save the day, but too much was expected too soon from the young man.

Fast forward to this year and we pen our QB hopes on a 19yr old who should really be walking the sidelines with a baseball cap on and not carrying the fate of LSU football on his shoulders, but he does.

Are we in good shape? I don't think ANY of us will really know the answer to that till next year.

What I do know is that we are going to Old Miss wounded and the guys better strap it on cause the Rebs have a QB who if on, is capable of putting lots of points on the board.
