I agree! Why stick around for the continued decline of the program and get sucked down with it? That could hurt his viability as a future HC.

Where is your proof that he's meddling?

So being low on OL doesn't give Canada a pass? We are playing two true freshmen on the line....not saying they can't develop into good linemen....but you guys are asking for miracles..

That defense is extremly young and didn't perform all that bad last night. W

Didn't Troy have a RB rush for 190 yards last night? Troy.

I think he's solid... but definitely overhyped by most fans in here.

It's funny you asked! What's changed...we lost a ton of NFL talent......and we are relying on true freshmen.....

But you ignore that and just assume its coach O meddling......

How come you won't even entertain the idea that we are low on experienced talent.....

I know why.....you were hoping lsu would lose because you wanted another coach from the start...

I get it. You are biased

You must be pretty ignorant. I have not given up on CEO and hope we see some form of life as we get into conference play. i believe you are trying to read too much into something. I just see the product on the field and I question whether or not the coordinators have total control

Aranda is the only Coach I have faith in to adjust and put his players in position to make plays. Every week a freshman has made a critical mistake which is something Aranda can't do for them in the action of a play. Depleted depth has not helped. I think he does need to bring more extra players flying into the backfield though.

Well, if y'all knew anything about scheme he definitely has a flaw and we can't cover trips or stacked wideouts and screens for shite. If you noticed Miss St did it and the last two game both featured heavy trips and screen plays.

I think he's a great coach but he has to fix that. Also after awhile of miss tackles and missed gaps, he's gonna have to fix that too.

I am willing to give Aranda another chance. His body of work thus far in his career says that he deserve it. Despite the fact that our defense has been terrible this year.

O on the other hand, should be fired with the quickness. His body of work says he is terrible. We have him a shot, hoping he learned from his mistakes and grew as a coach. Nope..he is who we thought he was.

I think Arandas defense being poor is proof just how horrific coach O is for a program. Aranda has fielded multiple top 10 defenses under multiple different coaches at different programs. His defense being bad is the litmus test that O is that toxic for a program

Canada actually doesn't have a great resume so him being bad isn't all on O

I think the problem is just lack of talent and too many players leaving the program...we can have all the top 5 recruiting classes but we need to keep and develop theses players...
I would not play BROSSETTE anymore this year or next year...he has been a big disappointment...fumbles way to much and cost us the TROY game

The D is a reflection of his coaching. And Wisconsin has got better since he left.

No it doesn't. We are much more talented and deep on offense. Senior QB, Chark, Williams, Guice, 3/5 of the OL, Moore, Moreau, are all veteran. This offense should and could be what last years was at the end of the year. Why couldn't it? We have basically the same offense as the end of last season, plus a year advanced, and I think our WRs as a whole are much more talented. They may not have the experience but that's on the coaches to put them in situations they perform well in. I see tons of things we can do on offense that we simply don't try until the games on the line or we are losing the game. Even then I see things LSU can do on offense to move the ball. If they would hire me, I honestly believe I could make some improvements. No I'm not an OC but if they put me in that booth and I knew the play sheet, I could help them with how to attack. It's painfully obvious to me. I would simply do some of what we did at the end of last year with small wrinkles, different personnel, as well as use some of the same personnel.

LSU needs to use the TEs more, and use the flats more as well as the middle of the field on crossing routes. Etling needs to be told to be more patient with those routes. It's our route combinations that aren't effective as well as the timing of pass/run/pa.

We don't pass out of running formations near enough. We use the draw out of passing formations, which would open up the pass and the screen on 3rd downs. On one drive I saw us gain 9 yards, then run for 4 to get the first down, next play was another run play which gained nothing. I would've run PA at that point. The 3rd and 5 situation where we ran the ball and then went for it on 4th down, I would come out in 3 wide keeping the TE in, I would have had two WRs on one side, (1) run a deep out, and (1) run a short out, I would have had the TE run across the field in the opposite direction and the back run in the middle, motion the opposite WR to the LOS then have him running full speed across the field likely picking up the coverage and leaving either the TE or the RB open picking up the 5 yards we need.

LSUs offense has to have short routes and confuse the defense with action, if they don't bite on the action then you go to the action man, if they do you go the opposite direction. Our QBs need to see the field better. If their is double and triple coverage on one side then the other side or flats are likely wide open. Our OC has to do a better job of disguising his offense. Our QBs need to do a better job of moving the defense with eyes and action. The smallest of movements would have defense's reacting knowing how aggressive they are with first moves. I would also tell me WRs to just get open.

Example is if the route is a post, then fake a curl or dig and then swipe the DB and head to your original route concept. LSU WRs could do that with all their routes and if the QB is aware of it then they would both know what to expect. This would also get the defense guessing and their talent would have to come into play much more then just simple technique.
