The game plan should be simple. Heavy dose of Fournette and D-Will. That will allow us to use play action and Harris should be able to get the ball to a wide open Dural, Dupree, Diarse, Chark, Quinn and Smith over the middle. Success.

I think you have it with a great D limited turn overs

A workmanlike, conservative, and somewhat uninspiring performance against McNeese, but Harris shows flashes of potential. Tigers win 38-14.

A hard-fought defensive battle against Mississippi State. Game plan will be very conservative in a hostile road environment, to protect Harris from the kind of fiasco he had against Auburn last year. More talented depth in the trenches wins out for the Tigers in the end, 23-17.

Auburn will be a tough opponent. They will score points against anybody, and I'm not sure we will have the offensive proficiency or gameplan yet to keep up. I see Auburn 34-24. The first of three losses in what will turn out to be a solid, but not spectacular, season.

Yeah sure. They beat a horrible UK team Lucked out against a real bad FLA team...Beat an overated Ole Miss team and then lost three of the final 4... That is NOT impoving significantly..........

AU failed as well at the end of the year..... However they will have a better offense in game 3 than LSU will. The D is up in the air... But LSU will have the same problems.....

But LSU should start at least 2-1..And maybe 3-0........

LSU 48 Mcneese 3

LSU 23 MSU 20

Auburn 27 LSU 23

I expect, if Dak Prescott picks apart Steele's defense with his passing and running, that many of the same posters declaring our defense will be greater than 2011, will then be posting all over the game thread and scoreboard:

"This defense is hot garbage!"

I predict 2-1 that Auburn game scares the shite out of me I'm a realist that fast pace offense can be brutal that Auburn runs, I don't think our QB position is not a concern any more. Our DL an LB depth concerns me more its a MUST we stay healthy here or our season is done. I hope one or two of our freshmen take the sec by storm this can play a huge role in us making a playoff run. Taking an early division lost not a bad thing long as you win the rest of your division games but front seven depth can't be over looked, stay healthy an we can be a scary team by season end!

time for you jokes on here to put up or shut up.

Ban bet that LSU does not start 1-2? Don't be a pussy, do it. You guys love trying to bash, why don't you back it up? I'm guessing I won't hear from you.

Ban a guy for his opinion?

Good lord whats wrong with you people?

Obviously everyone wants LSU to start 3-0 but its really not that far fetched that LSU could be 2-1 or 1-2.

We still don't have a named starter at QB.
We don't know who the starting DEs are.
Only one proven WR.
New DC

Having said all that, I think LSU wins its first two and loses a close one to Aubs.

I wouldn't expect anything different from you. That's who you are. Anything said in a positive manner about LSU, it's PEEJ to the rescue of the negatigers, even when you have no clue what you are talking about. This is EXACTLY what happened last year.

Well let me see, LSU got destroyed the first two games, then made some changes, and the young guys started to grow up after that. They started 0-2 with very bad losses, and finished the season winning 4 out of the last 6 conference games, losing in overtime to a top 10 team for one of the losses. You yourself were predicting 0-8 after the Auburn game. But they didn't improve.

Meanwhile Auburn started 2-0 with two huge blowouts over LSU and Arkansas, then finished the rest of the season going 2-4 in SEC play, with wins over that overrated Ole Miss team and a poor South Carolina team...while giving up 55 points to Alabama. Yes, I guess you are correct, LSU's improvement after the first two games was not more than Auburn's was. What a pathetic tool/troll you are.

Also, you sucking Auburn's dick...despite all of the above, and losing 7 starters on offense (possibly 8), including a lot of their production, you already know this offense is going to be explosive and they will be better than us in Baton Rouge. I'm not even guaranteeing we beat Auburn...who knows...if I had to bet my life on which team wins, I guarantee it would be with the purple Tigers.....but the fact that you automatically assume we suck and the opponent is better...is classic you.

the perception of the head coach and his staff.

Does every school have elite talent, with 16 returning starters? Hell no.

Point is, the only thing that indicates how teams are going to do is the perception of the head coach

are you 10 years old? So you are telling me the PERCEPTION of our head coach is going to determine how LSU pays. Good god. Maybe, just maybe, you should look at the fact that over the past 10 years, I believe LSU is either the top or the second ranked teams in number of wins in the power 5 conferences. Guess what head coach LSU has had over the last 10 years? what a dumbass.

quote:

His teams typically get better as the year goes on but seem to have problems with consistency, discipline, sideline confusion, curious play calling and identity early. Other coaches, seem to address these ares earlier. Injuries

oh really, so that should be reflected in his wins and losses right? and those other coaches that don't have those issues that he has, it should be reflected in their records as well right? Do you want to revisit all of these coaches winning % over the last 10 years. Why don't you go ahead and put down your list of these coaches, and their accomplishments over the last 10 years

quote:

Sorry to the delusional morons on here, but that's the way it is

you seem like a highly intelligent person.

BTW...as expected, you didn't take me up on my ban bet.

because he is a troll and a miles hater. It wasn't that he picked LSU to go 1-2...could that happen? Of course. . It's the way. He picks us to squeak by Mcnese St...then get skull dragged at home against Auburn, which hasn't happened in many, many years. Despite the fact that Auburn went downhill fast last year after the LSU game, while LSU improved significantly and returns 16 starters...while Auburn either returns 3 or 4 on offense. Did I mention the game was in Baton Rouge and that he is a miles hating troll? ha
