Yet another fallacy that the Rant subscribes to.

Remind me again how well Texas Tech's system has fared against quality SEC defenses the last two times they have faced such in the Cotton Bowl.

Tell me again what great teams South Florida has stymied so far this season.

The backup Cincy QB's big play was a QB draw on third and forever that USF failed to defend properly.

Look. Just because another school can plug in a backup against different competition and he looks good for 20 minutes of a football game DOES NOT MEAN that LSU's coaches don't know what they are doing!!! How in the world you guys can make that conclusion, and then everyone else agrees and piles on just amazes me.

Sheesh.

So last night Cincy, whose starting QB was not even listed on the depth chart last year, got hurt. The second string QB comes in and commences to lead 2 scoring drives against a top 10 rated defense.

Didn't JJ do this last year. But now can handle the pressure of being the starter.

betcha we'd beat both cincy and texas tech. believe me, we're better. you'd much rather be in baton rouge than in lubbock, too. i spent a week there one night. couldn't even buy a cocktail.
