This is in reference to the LSU/Burrow/Brady/Pete offense.

And yes.

The best QB should start.

I don’t think anybody is arguing that.

At the same time...

arguing that one guy is a better runner so he should start is just as stupid as saying Brennan should start because he deserves to.

The best QB should start.

Accuracy, Intangibles (ability to learn and process), Pocket Awareness.

Sometimes Pocket aware QBs aren’t the most athletic guys but they know how to maneuver inside and out of the pocket to avoid sacks.

Whatever Joe's were.

My guess is:
1) Decision making
2) Toughness-mental and physical
3) Accuracy

In no particular order

1. Pre-snap read ability.
2. Functional proficiency in the pocket (awareness, ability to navigate)
3. Accuracy

#3 was a close call with Post-snap ability to read defenses.

1. Run the offense as designed
2. Run the offense as designed
3. Run the offense as designed

Tommy Frazier was a perfect QB for the '95 Huskers. Joe Burrow was a perfect QB for the '19 Tigers. Two completely different skill sets but perfect for the offense they played in.

Intelligent(can make the reads/adjustments at the line/short memory)
Leadership (both vocally and with play. Shows toughness)
Accuracy

The intangibles that can take a kid with average physical attributes and make him and everyone around him a winner with a winners mentality.

Being able to read a defense pre snap, make a quick decision post snap, and be accurate to the target. Everything else is lagniappe.

You can make up for a weaker arm with accuracy and decision making. You can make up for lack of mobility by reading a defense pre snap and understanding where the rush is coming from.

Exactly.

put Joe on that Nebraska team and Tommie on our ‘19 team and neither wins a title.

but with them in right spots, you’re talking to of the most dominant teams in history.
