What are the odds Fournette cracks 1000 yds?

At 657 now. He would need to average basically 120 per over the next three games. I could see him picking up 250 combined against Arkansas and A&M but I think the Bama game might hold him just short.

Does the bowl game yardage count towards season yardage? If so, he'll crack 1000 yards.

needs to average 86 over the last 4 games (including bowl). He may run for 160 on A&M alone....barring injury, he goes over 1,000 imo.

Actually yes, they do count it now but I guess I was really wondering if he could do it in the regular season.

When he rushes for 95 in the SECCG hell crack it.

Do coaches generally pay any attention to stats? I don't mean run him into the ground until he gets there, but if he's a few yards shy, do they give him a couple extra opportunities? I hate when a back has 98 yards and they sit them for the last series.

e'll get 200+ at atm.
Doubtful. We'll split the carries.

If by thanksgiving atm has quit for the year,as they did in Ttown he will get 200,and other backs will get 100+.

I say he absolutely gets it if he has more than one run of over 50 yds the rest of the way.
And what I mean by that is the grounding and pounding attack may not get him there, but with a little luck and going for a couple of long ones, I think that would push his average over the next 3 high enough.
BUT, Les my do the seniors right and give them a few more carries, especially the last home game for them.

We have at least four games left, though.

If he does he will be the first LSU Fresh RB since Justin Vincent to do it...

Took Magee all of 13 carries in a stiff dew, to get 149 against them last year. All it really takes is a couple of big runs. Although I don't see 200, I could see 140 on 18 carries.

Hard to believe Jamal Lewis as a true freshman @ Tennessee in 1997 rushed for over 1300 yards. And this is with Peyton at QB.

He was a beast and continued on into the NFL as such. He wasn't splitting time with 3 other backs though. At least I don't recall it that way. Manning's passing prowess actually opened up the running game for Lewis, essentially never seeing the box stacked against him.
