I guess it's done because LSU randomly posted pictures of it for the first time in several months.

I don't hate it. It's nice but i do think it kind of looks like a building you see off Choctaw on the backside (conveniently hidden in these pictures). And I'm a little surprised they didnt build any kind of canopy for the outside seating. All in all i think they kinda half assed it.

Everything LSU has done recently is atrocious. The south endzone expansion and the Nicholson side of tiger stadium being the worst. Tiger Stadium is beautiful from the north endzone but the other portions are hideous

Even if it isn't perfect, it's a lot better than what we had before

There is no denying that. But if you are gonna do a project do it right i'd say. With that standing i didnt chip in any money towards it.

South End Zone looks great IMO.

Not putting any canopy at all was not a good idea.

Gonna get real hot real quick.

Maybe there was a reason. Money or shadows is all i could think of. But the old facility had a roof.

Just seems like a big oversight.

They could barely afford what was built, so that's why it isn't nicer. But it's definitely light years ahead of what they had before.

Time for you to just find a rope and end it.

If that's true it's a shame.

Well yeah i would expect a brand new facility to be better than the run down one. Not really the point though.

I can't think of a reason, but I agree, it needs a canopy.

I think it looks pretty good. I could see the need for the overhang on the exterior. Maybe they will add that later. But how many people complaining about the facility have even been to a tennis match?

Alleva told them to leave the cover off in hopes of selling more cold drinks to help pay off Tony Minnis lawsuit

How so? I think the project was around $14million or so. That's a lot of money for tennis. And TAF had just spent $70million on the SEZ.

Sure, it is. The whole point of creating a new facility for something is to make an improvement, which they definitely did.

I find it funny that there are more courts than members of the Men's and Women's teams. Everyone gets their own!
