After s shaky 1st inning that saw him give up 4 hits & 3 runs on 26 or so pitches, Lange came back 2 thru 9 with a 2 hit, no run, 10K, 88-89 pitch complete game performance! That's a good example of why you don't pull a good pitcher after a bad start. Took a lot of guts for Mainieri to make that decision after what transpired on Sunday. Great game Tigers.

It wasn't till the 4th that Poche had an issue, unless you are talking about the game in the SEC Tourney with Poche and Bain.

So much fail.

No way Lange was getting pulled unless he gave up another 3 spot in the 2nd.

This OP is the epitome of tRant.

How about pulling him when he walks the guy? CPM could have done that pretty easily.

There would have been 1 if not 2 fewer hits if Paul hadn't pulled the infield in in the 1st inning

I intentionally avoided the Rant during the game but id be extremely surprised if there wasn't at least a few ranters on here saying CPM should pull Lange or all is lost!!!

Of course these type of pessimistic arse clowns usually wait until the results are obvious before they spew their shite anyway so its possible they never got comfortable enough to speak up!!

Dude can't even spell the kid's name. Not like he's a 12-0 guy with a slew of national accolades or anything.

Oh the comfort level was through the roof. I thought I had accidentally clicked into Sunday's game thread today. Nope. Just the first inning of today's game lol

Lange pitches a great game, I post something positive about it, and you're upset because I leave out an "e" in his name. Sorry, I apologize I messed up your day.

Not a chance. Zero. None.

If he walked another or gave up another hit then maybe you delay to get someone warming up.
