"We are so glad we've got Coach-Oueax!! A humble, God fearing man, who's not afraid to be a man and own up to changes he's had to make!!! Our players see that. They know that. And so... that's REAL!!! It translates into the locker room, in the weight room, in the classroom, on the practice field, and best of all...on Saturday nights. Anywhere we play!!"

Just one of many posts on SI, ESPN, and Facebook praising Orgeron as LSU's new head coach, posts include many USC and LSU fans.

I don't trust a guy who uses that many exclamation points.

Can we please stop with the Oeaux crap?

First off, the guy doesn't even spell it correctly (or the OP misspelled it).

Second, it would be pronounced Oh-Oh, not Oh.

It's Coach O or Coach Eaux (technically, it should just be Eau - the singular), but not Oeaux.

What doesn't translate well is the translation of his cajun-ized nickname.

It's simply Eaux. No "O" necessary at the beginning and not "u" before "e" (neither makes phonetic sense in French to sound like "O", it's just EAUX).

I know it's an impossible losing battle, but this will drive me up the wall for the next several years.

THANK YOU!!! Glad I'm not the only one... You beat me to it as I was typing.

Correct, it's technically EAU, but the illiterate Cajuns (which I am part of that ancestry) couldnt sign their name and just added an "X" at the end as their mark. Or the plural would also result in the same.

Mr Joe,

You can not buy passion for LSU. The question is, can passion win a Championship?

We shall see.

Great minds, brother. Great minds.

Pretty sad when the Cajuns can't even get their Cajun done right.
