Not at all. It was awesome weather for a football game. I remember the student section filled up quick. It was 95% full when auburn players were walking around the field in just street clothes. The whole section started a "F**K you Auburn" chant. LOL AWESOME

"Night of the tuba"

Auburn's kicker Damon Duval starts warming up at halftime WHILE TGBFTL WAS STILL ON THE FIELD doing their halftime show.
He was undoubtedly the most hated man on the planet at that moment. When the LSU tuba player ran him over, he gets up and makes this smug, smart-arse 'shake of his head' like he did nothing wrong.
What a total possum anal region.

BTW, his hometown - Morgan City.

My most memorable game in Tiger Stadium. I remember thinking we are finally going to Atlanta.

No lightning delay. I was also tackled in the north endzone by a sheriff for trying to entice the masses to bust through security to get to the goal posts. One of my most endearing TS moments. csb

I was a student but was sitting on the West side with some friends. We had alot of hate for Auburn that night with the eye stomp and kicker wanting to fight. I ran on the field after the game and took some grass form the eye. I still have it in a ziplock bag. That was the first time I ran on the field. I remember seeing the cops standing next to the goal post and one guy got knocked down because he tried to climb it.

No, 2003 was perfect weather too. Come to think of it, I don't think '05, '07, nor '09 had lightning delays.

As for the 2001 game, I was a senior in high school and sat in the south endzone for this game. Ran on the field with the other idiots after the game. My only memory is that the students all gathered together on the field and some dude got hoisted up and gave a war-like speech in which everyone should storm to the goal post and knock over the cops. Didn't work out but the speech was cool. Oh, and I somehow managed to inhale pepper spray. Not cool.

I was one of the elated drunks dodging the Po-Po - NO SHITE! Not one of my finer days, but it was worth it

I was a student at the time. We had some skunky Swisher Sweets if I remember correctly. Mine broke in half during the fall after climbing the fence. Still one of my favorite LSU games to ever witness.

I was there but did not charge the field.
I was 21 at the time.

There is no team, and very much including their shitbag fans, that I hate worse than Auburn!

My freshman year at LSU. Third and final time I stormed the field at TS. Don't remember anything from that night except seeing LSU fans smoking cigars on the field after the game.

I wasn't a student then, but I was there. 28-14 I think was the final. but we dominated them more than the score reflects. Saban opened the game with an onside kick because Tubberville was flagged for his classless team's pregame horseshite. Great night. Rabid, Atlanta bound Tiger fans. Love it!!!

We actually rushed the field in 00 against tenn and then Bama. My gf at the time had to go to the hospital after the post fell on her after bam a.

We started that auburn game off with an insides recovery and Michael Clayton later killed some auburn player on teams.

It was my freshman year and yes I ran onto the field. The crowd was nuts after the penalty for stomping on the eye of the tiger and went absolutely crazy when we kicked an onside kick. Halftime was when the scuffle happened with the band and the kicker and then it was on. Special game considering the circumstances. Game was moved to the week before the SEC championship and if you win, you go!

This is actually the story I was hoping to pull out of this thread...I didn't go on the field, but I smoked a big ole stog in the stands and watched ( I went down in 2000 twice, so that was enough)...but a couple hours after the game this dude shows up at a party freaking out ...we were on the floor laughing at the stories he was telling us... apparantly the EBRSO was gaurding one goal post, and the state dogs were gaurding the other.... there was a band of students that were determined to get one...and they kept going back and forth getting their arse wooped, batoned, pepper sprayed, etc... then yes, there was one dude that was hoisted up and gave a braveheart speech about taking down the post, and the crowd rushed hard one final time but failed... it was a great story

Yes

Nope.

Do you have any stories to share from that night ?

Not that night, but the night before we were in Dublins and ended up hanging with these two Auburn guys who were pretty cool. This other aggravating Auburn twatwad who was on crutches kept running his mouth to everyone in the bar. By midnight, one of the cool Auburn guys had had enough and he ran up and kicked one of the crutches out from underneath the Auburn twatwad. Auburn twatwad face planted on the concrete ground.

Funny as hell.
