play we were running, or were supposed to run if JJ did his progressions. If I can do this, what do you think other teams can do?

Do you guys find us to be that obvious.

TIGHT END as FULL BACK was a nice touch, but Jordan missed him on the last drive and threw to LaFell instead. TE was wide open for a first down and JJ didn't even look. That would have kept us in the hunt for a touchdown and win in regulation.

I know it's germans, but so am I, so I figured I earned it.

FWIW the other team watches film from all our games, so they probably know what we are going to do more than 50% of the time.

Yeah, and if I watch a team long enough, I'll no what plays they are running too. No shite.

Guessing right on whether it's a pass or a run doesn't equal knowing what play we're running.

God it pisses me off when people say this. "Run up the middle" isn't a play.

I always get a kick out of the folks that "know what play we're going to run _% of the time". Most guess run or pass. The ones that really think they know what they are talking about get extremely technical in their predictions...short pass, long pass, run up the middle, run outside.

Does six plays in a row count?

I had a visitor during the game and commented how predictable the play calling was. She said, "Oh really?" I called the next six plays in a row, and no I don't mean "run", "pass". More like this will be an "off-tackle slant to the left" etc. She was amazed.

Since I am not a FB coaching wanna-be and don't watch film, I can only guess at how much better the opposing team's DCs are.

The point is Gary Scrotum is at best mediocre/predictable. His line about learning from the Ole Miss game was uber-lame. How does a guy get to be LSU's OC and require that level of "learning"?

Meaning pass vs. run? Wow, you're a genius and I'd hire you in a split second.

Wow. You played OC (for free) for six plays AND you got the girl! Sounds like a 3-shirt night. You don't really believe anyone here is buying your story, right?

BTW, you "had a visitor" during the game? What's up with that? I guess these are people from ancient lands who request an audience with you in your private box at Tiger Stadium...

So you've unlocked the century-old secrets of "The DiNardo Code?"

I'm sure you did coach. just as the dumbasses behind me were attempting to call every play and were wrong 90% of the time

so you guess run or pass for all of LSU's plays and you only got 50% right? that's pretty horrible.

Me too—at least to the extent that I selected TigerPanzer as a board name, for reasons that I assume are similar to yours (the legendary Tiger tank from WWII).

actually the play you are talking about was very well designed, and JJ didn't "miss" him. LaFell and Tolliver were split right, JJL came in motion and was behind TT at the snap. TT went deep and JJL followed him running a short curl.JJL was the first read and was open for a first down, JJ threw low, otherwise its a first. Dixon was open coming out of the backfield, but the OLB left Lafell when he saw Dixon crossing him toward the sideline, if thrown to Dixon, it would have been complete, but he would have had to fight through a tackle for the first.
I'm sure you said pass short before the play(3rd and 4) thus padded your stats on the prediction scale.
