I talked to one of my good sources this evening that continues to tell me that TW is a big time player and the offensive line is much better than advertised. Despite other speculation, this is going to be a better, deeper line than last year. Had some veterans last year that were not as good as people think. Just because you have experience doesn't mean you are a real difference maker.

People say oline would be good last year and they weren't.
People say they will be good this year.

solid one word titled with ellipsis post.

I'm not gonna doubt this, but it's ridiculous to think that the two lineman we lost were not good lineman. This shite happens every year.

The oline was good, even pretty good; they just weren't great.

Hope this doesn't apply to several other positions.

When you have a once in a decade back, it can make an average line look good. Our line was just that: good

Seems like our DLINE is light years ahead of last year and trenches are where the SEC is won. Hope the oline steps it up this season.

But we aren't relying on 2 freshman linemen starters this season.

We are relying on more experience this season than last year..

Hawkins and Vadal are both getting rave reviews by their respective teams.

no reason to disrespect those guys

Not denying that this line can be outstanding. I like the interior a lot. The tackles need some settling but I think they will be just fine .

Never want to bring up names, but when you see three and four year starters in the SEC fall to late rounds there is a reason. Maybe a guy has bad knees or maybe a guy just isn't physical enough. I can tell you that we have 4 current lineman that are going to go in the first three rounds of the draft. One is a senior, but the other three are no more than 2 years in. Then we have one true freshman who may be the most dominant guard run blocker in many, many years, a redshirt freshmen who only needs a little experience to become a household name, and another redshirt freshmen tackle who is solid.

OP isn't lying y'all. The amount of work Grimes has done for us is amazing. We're finally going to see his impact this year.

I'm ready. The oline was a very good run blocking group last year, but pass blocking was pretty bad. They'll have to be better for Harris to ever get it going.

T weathersby is about to make a name for himself. My boy on the defense told me he stepped his game up big time. Great feet.

Hate to say this, but the Gumps will dominate our OL again this year.

I hope Harris can complete the short throws.

Totally disagree.

Specifically, what has he done that's been amazing?

They haven't been able to consistently Pass Block since Grimes has been here. He's got them thinking too much with that Zone crape' and they're missing too many assignments on passing downs.

Amazing!
