I knew someone would find a black cloud to hang over the parade.

With Lange, Latz, Gilbert, and Smith returning, pitching should be strong.
Deichman is just now showing his potential, why would he leave.
Robertson and Poche don't need the money and they are probably enjoying college, rather than ride an old bus from town to town.
College life only comes around once, better enjoy it.

The draft is going to hit us a lot harder than I thought it would when this season began.

What is the status of Cole McKay? Has he seen any action this season?

I wasn't trying to rain on anyone's parade. Just saying this team has a lot more draft eligible players than people realize and it's always a crapshoot. I would love for all non seniors to come back but it's unlikely to happen.

If we miraculously get McKay to turn into something for next year, God help anyone who faces us. Him and Latz finally coming together would be ridiculous.

If we manage to keep our losses to Fraley, Bugg, and Newman, that's really solid. I don't see Romero leaving. Deichmann hasn't shown enough to warrant leaving, but weirder things have happened, I guess.

I think if Deichmann, Robertson get drafted in the top 20 rounds

Deichmann is a draft elig Soph, he can make more money coming back. bottom line.

Not a lot of big names on this roster for the draft. We will be left with a full cupboard.

Florida will be raped.

Fraley and Newman are the only two I see leaving. Poche hasn't done shite for the most part, and everyone else listed hasn't shown enough to get the money they're looking for.

Boy, are you going to be disappointed

Poche is gone. He's shown plenty enough. No one has forgotten what he did last year, and that potential is still there. We'll lose a number of relievers, too. Then there are a bunch of maybes, like Diechman, Freeman, Kramer.

I think our losses will be light, but more than you think.

No one has said anything about our incoming draft class? Is it a down year?

Look at all the contributors that came out of nowhere this year

Doesn't matter. According to he and his parents, his mind was made up before the start of the season. He gone.

The guy y'all are not considering who might well end up a loss to the draft is Freeman.

Next to Fraley, Poche and Newman who were all locks to go out, Freeman might be the one who's played himself into some money.

I wouldn't expect Reynolds to stick around either. He's been here four years; if he goes in the first 20 rounds I expect he's gone. Bugg, too.

But with any luck, the recruiting class will more than make up for some of the losses. The only real concern I have is left-handed pitching. We'll have Latz and Nick Bush (and I guess Brennan Breaux) and that'll be it.

Poche may go while he still has leverage. Deichmann may go depending on his relationship with the coach (I'm not saying it's good or bad, I'm just saying if he's drafted well enough based on his potential I can see it happening). We may lose Freeman, but I seriously doubt Kramer leaves and that't not knocking him. Just seems like a guy who enjoys college. Hoping Mckay turns it around and produces next season and doesn't give up and transfer.
