If Latz can be healthy an entire year the 1-2 of him and Lange will win a lot of series by themselves.

Absolutely. Maybe a conference title, for sure hosting a regional, a trip to Omaha a pretty good bet.

But can we finish???

NEXTYEARU

Wrong! Show me a thread, from this time last year that was predicting a great 2016.

The majority of our best players are coming back.

I think we will lose more than people think.
Fraley is gone.
Deichman is draft eligible.
Romero may go.
Robertson may have played himself into a late draft pick.
That's 4 starters from the lineup who may not be here next year
Lange is back which is great but a majority of our top pitchers are draft eligible. Poche, Reynolds, Newman, stallings, and bugg are all draft eligible.
This years draft could really hurt us like last year

Yup. Tigers should be near the top of the polls most of the year .

Fraley is the only one bat I see us potentially losing

Fraley and Newman are the only two I see leaving. Poche hasn't done shite for the most part, and everyone else listed hasn't shown enough to get the money they're looking for.

If I remember correctly most people on here thought Stevenson and laird would be locks to be here this year. Anything can happen with the draft. Seniors tend to get much lower offers than juniors would get.

This times 1000. As a senior you lose all of your bargaining power. Sometimes the gamble pays off and you get drafted much higher and end up in a better place, sometimes (Christian Ibarra recently comes to mind) you end up screwing yourself out of a chance at pro ball. I think if Deichmann, Robertson get drafted in the top 20 rounds, they'll go. Romero could use more seasoning at catcher, Bugg and Newmann are going to go much higher than most think. I think all in all we end up losing 3 starting bats and 3 big arms.

Also our recruiting class has up to 5 kids who will probably go pro instead of make it on campus.

Do you attend or have a degree from the university? Because if so, the "we" is appropriate. I will refer to LSU as we until I die. They got 5 years worth of my money and I've got a degree from LSU so damn right it's a we. Hell even if I wouldn't have a diploma and just have paid these ridiculous taf fees for the past decade, I'd still refer to it as we. GTFO

Wait how'd you deduce that from my post. I was just saying that they do indeed lose all leverage when they decide to come back as a senior. It was a post of facts, I'm not worried bout a thing. I've never seen an LSU team fail to reload no matter how many or how few people we lose to transfer/draft/other. I'm actually happy for the guys as they get a shot at the next level.

Sky is well and in place my friend.
