I think the only time Alleva does anything productive is when he trips and lands in his shoes.

No offense to the O diehards, but Alleva wanting to fire CLM end of 2015, then get politic-ed into keeping CLM, only to fire CLM after 4 games, THEN have months to land his man, then got left at alter and knee jerked O hire.

CPM did what he needed this year IMO. A deep run in CWS. We need those every few years and he was lacking since 2009.

Basketball is a joke under Alleva. Will Wade is going to save him on his 3rd hire.

Alleva has the vision of Joe Dean. And that's not good. UF built a powerhouse AD under Foley.

Still say Billy crossed the goal line
Really, I think the missed call @ Tenn in 59 cost us back to back MNC in FB and would have been a game changer. We would have been heralded as a FB machine school up with the likes Bama, USC, OKLa, Neb., etc. Bring on BYU!

This little drought has been disappointing, but that photo of all our team national championships illustrates how incredibly fortunate we've been as Tiger fans, particularly in the last 30 years. The vast majority of schools in the country can only dream of having a list like that.

Btw, having a boxing natty is still pretty damn cool.

Downvote away but I really don't give a shite about track and field national championships. LSU played for a football title in 2011 and lost. Played for baseball this year and lost. I'm not sure how LSU winning or losing those has anything to do with Alleva. It doesn't provide any qualitative measure on his job performance if those championships turn out differently.

Women's softball was in the College World Series and gymnastics just barely missed a title themselves. Just hired what looks to be a promising young basketball coach. The Orgeron hire ultimately will be what makes him or breaks him but all the complaining about "championships" comes across a tad spoiled and devoid of perspective.

This post seems way too logical to be on the Rant

Skip gets credit for Pat Henry's national titles and letting him walk out the door simultaneously

eta: Also, how can you nimrods not see that while LSU is a strong athletic program, nearly 80% of our national titles came from ONE COACH. ONE. COACH...that Skip let walk out the door.

I'm not saying Alleva is fricking tom jurich, but you guys have a warped perception of what LSU athletics is. We've come a long ways from just being a powerhouse in track and baseball.

I just hate that we lost it to fricking Florida.

I hope we beat them by 30 in their own house this fall.

You idiots need to get a life that isn't complete by LSU sports.
That's what I've been saying on here, but you're preaching to a granite, cement and brick wall.

These Snowflake Pump Lumps all have a one-track mind and sad life comprised of an "All-LSU/All the Time" type of existence.

Nothing you can do but state your opinion, ignore them and move on. My time is not worthy of discussing LSU Sports with their "Spooky" little breed.

LSU's last 3 AD's

Competing for championship ain't good enough Joe. Winning is all that matters
tracj and field doesn't count

If it did we would all bow to fricking Arkansas

I wish boxing was still an NCAA sport.

Title IX would not interfere. These days, you could have women's boxing just as easily as men's.
